I kind of fell off watching them around 2015-2016. No malice or anything, my life was just moving away from them. This news hurt, like losing people I grew up with.

Geoff’s reaction to Kerry calling him his hero, that hits hard

I lost it when Geoff showed up. (Tearing up again as I type this) this company is his baby, and you can tell it really is like losing a child. Thank you to the founders of RT, all the employees, and guests for making us laugh and peeling back the curtain of what honestly looked like the most fun company to work for. I hope the current iteration of Let’s Play and F**kface and ANMA and the rest of the amazing podcasts can continue (Ray, you ever wanted to be a media mogul? Here’s your shot), because I can’t imagine my life without hearing Geoff’s voice every week. He’s a fuckin inspiration, in so many ways.

Kerry was the first RT person I met as a guardian at RTX and it’s what set the tone for the entire trip. I’ve never met a nicer, more genuine person in my life.

Bless for having the whole stream, my heart aches for this change… but we need to keep moving forward.

I have been watching Roosterteeth since RvB season 6 was new. I stopped watching around 2018, but I'll never forget the years I spent watching them and Achievement Hunter

A lot of people still don't get how digital media works and are going to be so angry at the honesty shown in this stream regarding patronage. A lot of people are just blatantly stupid and they get annoyed at ads, they get annoyed at first, they get annoyed at brand deals, and so on. They somehow still don't realise the business realities that exist and what is needed for the people who entertain us to be able to entertain us for a living.

Geoff. What an absolute human. In the best way possible. None of these people are perfect but no one is. Seeing them live through this company and community is a gift. Proud to have been a part of it.

The fact that they were underwritten for 10 years and stayed around for that long is crazy. That means they weren't financially viable on their own for over 10 years. Wow.

They don't know me, but I feel like I've been friends with these guys for so many years. I know the RT people are talented and will find new and amazing things to do. I will always be greatful for the years of laughter...
