  • I’d love to hear a video on the psychological part of losing weight! I feel like everyone always focuses on the physical (working out, eating, etc.) but the hardest part is what you tell yourself.
  • @MrMonkiepunk
I’ve lost 150 lbs in total and 80 in the last year. I been chillin in the 195/205 range and am trying to re-evaluate and create some new goals (since for as long as I yoyod my only goal was to be under 200) this will be very helpful to change it up and hopefully get this moving again

When I first came across your videos, I was eating 1000 calories a day. I saw your reverse dieting videos and did my own research and realized the big ass luggage of extreme health conditions I could've caused myself. Yesterday I counted my calories again, after months of reverse dieting and breaks, my weight has gone up 10 lbs but I'm eating 2100 so if I want to lose it now, I don't need to be half alive :) Thank you for being a the person who set a start to my journey.
  • Man I love your videos. I'm an old school competitive body builder (46) and a lot of what I did in the past has caused what I am now. Part of that is totally what you talked about in here is lifestyle. I stopped going to the gym in 2019, had a lot of stress upon me a few years previous. Part of this is my old school understanding and thinking of the process of food. I love all your videos that help me get re-educated and up to speed on the NEW science. Lauryn asked about the mental part. Its MASSIVE and I would love to see a video on it, Hell I would participate in it. Interview people and see what they say. The mental component is the biggest part of any of this. No one can make you do it, No one can make you STOP eating the bad stuff, or EAT the good stuff. It all comes down to you and your mental state.
  • @JulieLeChef
Really in-depth explanation. Thanks so much! During the pandemic put on about 20 lbs, and have since lost 10. I'm at a higher weight now, but I feel stronger and I'm looking good, so your explanations help validate my experience and give me confidence that I'm doing all the right things for my body and self right now. Thanks for making this information so accessible :D
  • That last bit about not restricting foods=not wanting them as much... SO TRUE. I 100% experience this now and it's awesome
  • Loved this video! Yes, would like another video on the psychological aspect on it. Thank you for all your hard work and sharing such evidence based videos. Thank you.
  • @Nerdycowgirl11
Your channel has been a Godsend for me!!! 😇 The nerd in me loves the research you cite, but then you put it into applicable terms so that i can actually implement it! I’ve been struggling trying to lose weight so that i can start showing my horses again after having 2 kids, but like you said my body is excellent at homeostasis! I stay the same weight no matter what! But I’m about to start using the mini cut cycles theory! Thank you so much for your videos! God bless! 💙🥰
  • @og5uh
So good! Thanks for sharing quality material!!! 🙌
  • @Latoija
You got straight to the point!! ❤❤❤ Thank you!!
  • @lindyblades1913
Excellent video! You did an amazing job explaining everything!
  • This is literally everything I’ve been looking for and exactly what I haven’t been hearing from the diet culture echo chamber. I can’t wait to binge on your channel. Thank you so much 😊 I actually do have hope
  • @liberablu
Thank you! Videos on mindset and psycological aspect of weight loss would be so helpful :)
  • @lauragalvan6285
Love your content Marisa. Your channel changed my life and the way I look at my body and has helped me relieve some pressure around how to approach getting a fit body. Hope you had a splendid and tasty Thanksgiving!
  • @sgtroest
so passionate - so good!!! Thank you for saying it ALL!!
  • You should start a podcast. I always watch your videos when I’m at the gym and a podcast would make that so much easier 😂 I love your content so much. Love hearing all these things explained in a way I can understand.
  • @nicoleroden9647
I wish I could like this video a hundred times! So informative and approachable - it was just what I needed to hear. ♥
  • I think a video on psychological relationship with food would be great especially around the holidays when everyone starts panicking about weight gain and then the pressures with New year's resolutions. You could also tie in another video on mini cut cycles with reverse dieting because I find those so helpful! I think there is a concern and fear with maintenance because you've worked so hard to achieve it, you don't want to lose it.
