This guy is so biased man...he has given the Novablast 1, 2 , 3 and 4 as shoe of the year each year...are u kidding me, what a joke. You sir are not an unbiased reviewer sorry.
  • @LucasH567
I always look forward to the top 5 year end reviews! Thanks for your honest and excellent opinions, Ko!
  • @gfrm456
Its great to see the New Balance fresh foam line getting more recognition.. been running in 880/1080 for years and keep going back to it after being disapoint with ghost/Triumph etc.
  • @ericAblair1903
Awesome work man! Looking forward to getting back on the Novablast lineup.
  • @karmaforgotme
I ran the most in 2022 and 2023 in the Novablast 3, with the Triumph 20 2nd in 2023. Still my SOTY overall is the SuperComp Trainer V2. I only have about 30 miles in the Novablast 4, with my longest run only 8 miles. So far, I will say great shoe and I think the forefoot is better in the 4, but I like the heel better in 3. I need to get some 15 to 20 mile runs in them to truly judge, but so far they are a blast to run in. Fun fact I wore the Novablast 3 for the Damn Yeti 55k trail (mostly smooth, non-tech) race. It did great.
  • Have 2 Clifton 9's super comfy, right balance for me of being soft, but not too soft. Live in Thailand, not seen the Novablast 4 yet, the 3 very good, bit squishy. Great video as always.
  • @Bryan_Gutierrez
I picked up the novablast 4 too and I absolutely love it so far!
  • @erikvaage576
Great list! ❤ Had two pairs of Novablast 3, so I’m excited to try Novablast 4 at an ASICS demo at my local running store tonight!! 🎉🎉🎉

Hey Kofuzi. Discovered you recently when looking at shoe reviews. Really enjoying your vids, especially loved the Boston Marathon vid. I haven't run for quite a few years mostly due to back issues but hoping to get back into it, to a fun level with the family at least.Being a pronater I used to run in Brooks with a bit of stability. I've been reading about the recent science in regards to gait, pronation, natural etc and that what we all believe is not quite right. So I'm going to try the Novablast 4 and see how I travel. I think my fitness starting out will be more of a battle than my foot placement but we will see. Keep the quality coming. Cheers!
  • @AvinMarv
The Novablast takes the crown again back to back! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
  • @ALRUMIE
Great review Mike as always We both choose Novablast 4 as My Daily Trainer of the Year in My Channel
  • @laalaa99stl
Great call on the Cloudsurfer 7. It's a shoe that surprised me and many others this year. On Running deserves praise for breaking free of their institutional thinking and finally giving us a shoe without that stupid speedboard. I rewarded them by buying two in different colorways. It's light too. I like to use it for faster/flatter cold days when the TS9's upper gives me frostbite.
  • @Peter_Scott
Nice rundown! Really liked the Supernova Rise. Just felt personally for me it needed a bit more 'ooomph' on faster workouts but definitely a step in the right direction for Adidas. Novablast again was really comfortable, but perhaps too comfortable (is that even possible??) for my use as a daily. Might give the Hokas or NB 1080v3 a go next year. OCs just don't appeal to me. Look great… but…I can only think how annoyed I'd be if I got a stone in one of the gaps mid-run! I've been using my last pair of Pegasus Turbos for dailys this last wee while. But having racked up 350+ miles on them I'm in need of a new daily. New Peg Turbo 4 pics are doing the rounds on insta! :D Let's pray its better than the Next Nature!!
  • @silvermandavid
My favorite is the New Balance Feulcell Supercomp Trainer V2. It’s like the 1080 V3 without the gnocchi pillows.
  • @OmaRuns67
I just got my Novablast 4’s today!!! Taking them out for a 6 miler tomorrow morning … so excited!!!
  • @snowwalker9999
Very interesting list. Are you planning on doing a top 5 speed shoes and ultimate shoe rotations 2023? You know we want to see them.
  • @CookingEngineer
I started with running this year and my daily trainiers are OnCloudmonster and the Novablast 3 which I took also as the race shoe for NYC'23 because it felt so comfy.
  • @theunknown21329
I wish Reebok made a good shoe that was on par with all of these daily shoes. I am a hardcore fan of the Floatride 4. What a shoe that was!
  • @davidmcquade4743
I'd like to predict that Kofuzi picks the Puma Deviate Nitro 2 as shoe of the year. For two reasons: 1) He seems to love running in it and he said it feels the most "Boston" like to him. 2) I feel like he'd want to recognize the rise of the Puma Brand. People love their Nitro foam and they are creating an awesome lineup of race shoes, tempo shoes, and recovery shoes.
