Loved Antonio Fargas, especially in the Kenan Wayans film "I Gonna Git You Sucks" the scene where he's wearing a pair of Glass or Maybe Lucite shoes with swimming Goldfish inside was hilarious (Platform Shoes at that), his character was still Living in the 70's, therefore his outfit was as well 70's STYLED, very funny, i Didn't like his character on the T.V. Cop Drama Starsky and Hutch, much too Stereotyped for African American Actors 😑 BUT of course that was the TYPICAL portrayal of Street Characters who were African American actors during the 70's, he was so Underrated as a Actor.
  • Didn't know his dad was Puerto Rican. Thanks for sharing and yes, a great actor, and great person.
  • My husband was good friends with his brother Ecco, they lived in the same building on 113th Street and he ran into Antonio years ago on the street in midtown, terrific actor!

I love Antonio Juan Fargas. He was so funny as Huggee Bear when I was little. We used to watch Starky and Hutch with my grandma. She loved that show, Baretta and Kojak! I went to see him in Car Wash. When he was on Martin, I taped it and watched it over and over to watch him!
