He's better than Leonardo DiCaprio. Why? Leo never gives anyone a chance to direct him even if he finds the script good. Bale will give any director a chance to direct him. He also plays his role to the very best.
  • No mention of the Prestige which is. One of the greatest performances by Bale.

I think he’s one of the best actors we have ever had. When an actor can be in a movie and you don’t even know it’s him at first, that makes a truly great actor. Most of these actors all sound the same on every movie. Bale doesn’t at all. I love most of his movies. Even if some have bad writing he makes them all so much better.

i think the funniest part about christian being the “sigma icon” is that he hates the idea of bateman lol. he and most others were aware that it’s a satire through and through. he was even concerned when wall street bros thought patrick was cool.

Its crazy how he played Bateman and Batman and yet it's so easy to forget that it's the same actor. He's on a whole other level.

It's damn near criminal that his performance in The Prestige wasn't mentioned in this video. It's such a re-watchable movie and Hugh Jackman, Sir Michael Cain and Rebecca Hall all deliver great performances, but Bale is the standout imo.

Equilibrium, a highly under-rated movie. Bale rocked that shit. The scene where he shoots Sean Bean is heart breaking.

Bale was completely right in his outburst. That shit is so difficult and a lot of film students/employees have come out and said they get it. That lighting guy fucked up

I don’t think we understand how lucky we are that such a devoted method actor who was active in the industry at such a young age has stuck around so long, those stories usually end in tragedy

I had no freakin idea he had a relationship with Rowan Atkinson early on. Thats awesome! Such a bizzarre actor to find a mentor in, given Rowans focus on comedies. Absolutely love it.

There is no paradox, this man is a God-tier actor

The Terminator is, in my opinion, a classic example of poor writing and storytelling, and I don't hold Christian Bale responsible for that. He happens to be one of my favorite actors. His dedication to method acting, as evidenced by the movies I've seen, is truly remarkable. It's even surprising to discover that he played the child role in 'Empire of the Sun' because I cherished that movie when I was a kid.

“Christian was released… on bale.” Is hilarious.
  • @JohnRapheal7
The way they did him in Thor was heartbreaking.. its like he was in a different movie than everyone else
  • @katanaridingremy
I saw American Psycho and then the Machinist and was sold on Bale being a great actor
  • His rant on set was so relateable. Someone turned it into a fabulous remix. He's been my favorite actor for over a decade.

I'm mind blown by the fact that Bale, a king of transformation, learned method acting from Mr Bean. Atkinson: "Mhm. Ah! Jhm jo. Ooooh" Bale: "Bloody brilliant."
