They cut the cameras for one simple reason: it's illegal but on average way less illegal than what the cameras would capture.

Regardless of whether the cops are just "doing their job" or not, they were still in the wrong. They legally aren't allowed to turn off his security cameras, nor take his money.
  • The real scary thing is, they cut those cameras for a reason. I'm willing to bet it's not a far cry to assume that an officer willing to steal $400 is the same kind of officer who might just have the thought cross their mind to plant some evidence like drugs etc. Those cameras weren't a threat to them unless they intended to do something illegal. It's not as though those cameras had death rays attached to them or something. 😂

"Why you disconnecting my video camera?" Is a bop too
  • The day will come when this will have to be played in court, and it will be epic

Prior to this home invasion, Afroman was robbed and the police kept not giving him a police report that he needed for insurance. He contacted them about it a couple of times, and they kept delaying. Then, they busted his door down. He wasn't home, but his family was. He's convinced they intended to kill him but weren't expecting a) him not to be there and b) cameras everywhere. Just gonna repeat - he asked these people to do their damn job and at least file a report when he was robbed so he could get insurance to pay out, and this was the Adam's County Sherrif's Department's immediate reaction. Oh, and then their raction to this video was to sue for defamation and emotional damages.

Is cutting his security camera's off part of 'just doing their jobs'? How about the false pretense of kidnapping, stealing his money, really?
  • I doubt the sheriffs department even did any surveillance or due diligence in general.

I opened for Afroman last October, he was doing a cross Canada Tour, it was dope and hes hilarious. I missed "because I got high" ironically because I was in the smoke pit getting high lol , but I came back inside and sang colt 45 and two zig zags baby that's all we need! (Dirty rap song) at the top of my lungs. was an amazing experience and something ill never forget. Thanks Afroman! hope to do a show together again someday!

I had the Pinellas county Florida swat team bust my door in, me and my kids were sleeping. I was pulled out of my bed at gunpoint, it scared my kids to death. After searching my apartment and traumatizing my children they realized they were at the wrong apartment!! They were looking for a fugitive from Georgia. They just said "sorry". That's it, I was pissed.
  • Lmao. I can't believe I missed this. I love AfroMan!! He poured me a beer from stage signed my CDs while rapping when I was in my early twenties! Best concert ever!!

So glad you covered this, lemon pound cake has a special place in my heart. The whole album is amazing
  • @donovan6004
You are right. they are just doing their job. But taking money off the table turning around and running away is not their job.
  • @espion2KX
I'm guessing once they cut the camera feed that's when the cake disappeared 🤣
  • @shutupcrissy
Lemon pound cake is my new jam! I love that he turned corruption into a new album!!!!!
  • @Jcrobify
The simplicity of the lyrics combined with subtle relaxed tone of the song is way genius in making those officers look ridiculous AF! 😂
