Jack is stacked, packed, and clearing the racks!
  • Now would be a great time to auction the swim collection. I am not qualified to give advice on the stock market. 😂

Wouldn't it be cheaper for you to find a small warehouse to ALL of your stuff consolidated into one spot. It would be a whole lot easier keeping track of and you would be able to put like minded items together. Could be a cheaper option. I love the idea for the purge .

In my very humble opinion your "Purge" is a sound idea. I am 73 now but I always followed the philosophy that I could make better money buying and reselling rather than letting someone else do that for me in any other form - working for somebody else or through savings and investments. I am now living on my own surrounded by piles of reselling stock. My health is not as good as it was when I was younger and I get tired so quick! Luckily have a U.K. State pension and a a.all private one from working as a nurse to meet most of my living expenses. You are thinking ahead and I think you are right and very wise to do so. Very best wishes, Roger.

I love to purge!!!! I hate things just hanging out!!! It was so epic and your family rocked that show. Glad I could be a part of it!!!!!God bless and protect you guys
  • As a reseller who is moving I have come to realize that I find a lot of "good" deals that end up sitting around until I get to them. I am finding I have a lot more unlisted inventory than I thought I had. To the PURGE!

Have been watching you guys over a year and LOVE your new idea!! I was born in 1970 also and was pretty much pushed into early retirement due to cancer. Been doing a lot with my retirement account to earn big money to live on without decreasing my account balance (along with reselling). Very wise of you guys and love the content ❤ Blessings to your entire family 🙏

As for the horse tack, get pictures printed with prices, take copies to farm stores ie: Rural King, Bomgards etc. Most farm stirs have a “for sale board”
  • My hubby and I are 66, started in basic funds in our 30's have a paid off house and 1M+ in the bank. Key is time, start Roth IRAs for each girl and encourage them to NOT TOUCH IT. There are growth tables that can show the girls how a few thousand each year for 10 years can grow, get them started well.
  • Jack, great video! It’s made me realize that lots of stuff I’ve put away to sell later on when it’s worth more could be doing more for me if invested. I’m in my early 60’s and have been increasingly been putting more away in 401K. Time for me to purge some but I’m not sure how I’d get the best return on my investment on certain items. I’ve used eBay before so I’m familiar with it. Gonna take some planning on my part. Thanks again! Thought I’d dislike this one but the mix was well done and it’s made me think about my stuff! Keep ‘em coming!

The best investment you can make is in your kids! Get them running an Ebay store! They can be selling books or DVDs or even clothing. I know people will say invest in their schooling but I'm looking at so many friends from school and they aren't using their degrees. I have 2 teen boys and really warn them about higher education. It is great if you are going to use it but most pick a career with no exp. You are only 2 people you can only sell so much.
  • @SalerPaul
I was thinking your epiphany would be that you should purchase your OWN warehouse! Seems like your current rental costs might cover it. You know you will ALWAYS need SOME storage!
  • @helenshaw2745
You need to hire someone and have them run your e -bay. So you can push more merchandise. Best way to go, you can only do so much.
  • Remember that the state gets a BIG chunk of that 110K. Factor that in for sure. You talk about retirement and investment. Need to decice. If retirement make sure you put your money in a ROTH IRA (tax free after retirement). If an investment account there will be taxes whenever you take money out (for rental or retirement). Don't rush into something without talking to your Accountant first.

Great idea, get it out, turn it in to cash and make it work for you.
  • @toiwright1620
Watched the Royal Rumble and loved it! Was cheering for you and Taco.
  • @leselp8725
Great idea Jack. Looking forward to watching the process and seeing you make some good money for your hard work. Good luck

This is so fun! I’ve been using computers since Commodore 64. Seeing these old games is a blast from the past!
  • @brianselt291
I have heard you say this…” Why did they pay rent for 10 years on this stuff?” If rent is costing you $15K a year then after one year you are giving $15K worth of merchandise away, for free essentially. PURGE Baby PURGE!
  • @hresulas4446
Good luck to you and your family. I’ll be cheering for you guys!🤗
