Today we were joined by our friend and fellow YouTuber @MaxFosh to try some authentic Nashville Hot Chicken that we somehow found in London of all places! Could we handle the increasingly more intense heat?

Big thanks to Max for coming on the channel again and braving the spice! Check out his channel and socials:

We learned 3 things today: 1. Taylor Swift is not from Nashville 😅 2. Oprah is also not from Nashville 🤦‍♂️ 3. We really should just go to Nashville 🐓 🔥 🎸

Shout outs to John the cab driver for rolling with the boys and keeping it hilarious. Another great episode bruvs.

Here's what we learned from this vid... Nashville hot chicken "designed for a British palate" is no longer Nashville hot chicken. It's just chicken.

I love that they invited jon along for this video. He was in the cabbie series awhile back, and its nice that they included him in the video.

Big respect to John for dealing with Ollie's jokes
  • @HanaKooky
Ollie's humour honestly cracks me up every time.🤣
  • I have a strong feeling that these spice levels are much lower than what you'd find in an American restaurant. From the way you guys described it our sandwiches would be starting at the mid level for the lowest spice.

To clarify. Oprah is from Arkansas, dolly is from Tennessee but instead from rural Pigeon Forge and your girl Tay Tay is from Pennsylvania. And the trick is that they soak it in hot sauce before they dredge it and potentially spice it again and then fry. I absolutely adore you! And dream of a way to get an egg tart here in North Carolina.

As a Nashville-based longtime Jolly watcher, y’all have to try it here.
  • @avalangrin4904
Is this really authentic? Josh and Ollie need to go to Tennessee and get real Hot fried chicken. 🤯🤯🤯
  • It seems to be missing the spicy oil bath on those, which is very distinct for Nashville Hot Chicken. If you just dust it in cayenne it's just a spicy chicken sandwich.
  • @ReidGameX
I don’t want, I NEED an offshoot food series with Max and Ollie just taking the piss out of each other.
  • @xandercage2107
John the cabbie returns from the cabbie series on Korean Englishman! YES! MORE CABBIES PLEASE!
  • @jmason0622
From what I can tell by watching, the Brits got shortchanged there. That is NOT the crazy spicy Nashville hot chicken I know. Like, the "top spiciest" sandwich they had only got the boys to have mild sniffles and grab ice cream. I'll bet the spicy chicken Josh and Ollie got in the Watcher collab was spicier.

Hilarious video! As a Nashville native and longtime fan of Jolly, that was NOT the real spice levels of authentic Nashville hot chicken. I handle spice pretty well but I start sweating with “mild”
  • @deepseermoo8439
I love that they're all so fair that their cheeks let us know when they're burning
  • @sangfroidian5451
Ollie's jokes are tougher to deal with than the spice level!!! 😂
  • @emilywynstra
I loved this chauffeuring tasting style video! These three have great chemistry 🐣

I live in TN and I can tell this isn’t Nashville hot because no one is crying in round one. With Nashville hot we get mild/medium and are sobbing. If you get hot your mouth gets numb. We don’t dare go past that in this household 😂 and I’m someone that can really handle spicy food and adore it. Edit: based on reactions- good luck is probably equivalent to American medium. But since they have British taste buds good luck is probably equivalent to our mild- which is the least spicy.😂
