Test Run for Insta360 "The Back Bar" Using an Insta360 X3 360° Camera

In a couple of past videos I've struggled with getting that third-person perspective on my motorcycle rides.

I even made a video for customer service at Insta360. They finally informed me that their $100 Insta360 Extended Selfie Stick for X3 is NOT intended for use on their Moto Mount Clamp... somewhere that is probably mentioned in the fine print, but I didn't get that memo. All of this was after a few failed attempts that thankfully did not seriously damage my Insta360 X3 camera.

Frustrated, I decided upon another tack in the form of the Insta360 Back Bar, which is basically a velcro kidney wrap with an adapter for attaching a selfie stick. They do not recommend using the EXTENDED selfie stick, but I'm going to give it a whirl anyway. What's the worst that can happen?

From BH website:
"Capture dynamic third-person shots of your next trail run or mountain bike with the standard version of the Insta360 The Back Bar and your Insta360 action camera. Simply mount your Insta360 action camera onto your selfie stick of choice and insert it into the waist strap's rod adapter. It features hook-and-loop fasteners to tighten it around your waist. The waist strap can adjust anywhere from 6.46 to 12.4" and remains secure while engaging in action sports."
