I like how the 1st pipe is based off of the 1st captain toad stage And I think the rainbow road from MKDS is in it as well

I always wondered about the Goombas- they look like mushrooms, but their Japanese name (kuribo) means (roughly) "chestnut person", which sounds more like the Galoombas. Huh. Also, this might upset you, but the giant's line is "Fe fi fo fum, I smell the blood of an Englishman. Be he alive or be he dead, I'll grind his bones to make my bread." No word on how the giant knew what an Englishman is.
