You are NOT useless, Mr. Graham Norton. You bring joy and the BEST talk show to MILLIONS of people. I'd say that's pretty damn special. And special is useful.

I was in a tiny taco spot below 14th Street in New York years ago and in comes Mark Ruffalo with his kids. He could not have been nicer. He was willing to take pictures with people and although I was tempted to ask also, I didn't because I was with my son and I thought he would want the privacy to spend time to sit and eat with his kids in peace. Even so, when we were leaving he looked and saw us, smiled and said "Hi". And no, he was not yelling at his kids. They were so well behaved and looked like they were enjoying spending time with their dad.
