I'm from San Antonio. Trust me, Do Not Think Your Vehicle Can "Make It!" Seen results. DONT CHANCE IT. NOLA for 8yrs, same. I'm in Deep East Piney Woods now, and it's all draining our way. They've closed our three dam gates, can't get in or out. Praying for Livingston. Use your heads, Fellow Texans. 🙏🏼

Some of these families have lived on their families land for 150+ years and have only had repeat flooding in recent years due to changes in infrastructure. Please please please help these families!

I'm 71 years old and have lived in Houston my whole life. It floods here every damn year. The city is run by crooks and every thing they do just makes it worse.

A complete unregulated spree of development is causing the flooding to get out of control in the Houston area. When they build a structure or pave a parking lot, the ground is unable to absorb even a drop of water so it creates flash flooding. The lakes, bayous, and dam were designed decades ago when it was far less developed. These things are not engineered to handle the volume of water the runoff is dumping into them. It will just get worse as more things are built.

I laughed out loud when i saw what they did to "build up the banks" of san Jacinto after harvy. The water was over 69 in kingwood, and they built the sand banks up about 3 feet. It literally did nothing to help.

Bring in the Cajun Navy and tell them they shouldn't live in the swamps. It's there right to live in the swamps. This maybe planned out there was a new law that got passed that property owners could sue the state of Texas if it is flooded. Now then this flood happens the Army Corps of Engineers is in on it I think?

I was interested in the property that was flooded by inadequate drainage underneath interstate ten out around Anahuac. The fellow won his lawsuit but is his pasture flooded by this occasion?
