Just get the Tmoble magenta plan for $50 (with auto pay), which comes unlimited 5g speed data. Then take that sim and put it in a mofi wifi router and connect your devices ... as far as tmoble knows you're using a cellphone. And you still have unlimited mobile internet
  • @julioguzman5197
I work in the windmill industry and i just barely got the Internet back in October and it work flawlessly. Loved it. If they go through with it, im just gonna drop it.
  • @mv4463
I have mine in my car. I use it in my camper. Best item to have. Works 90% of the time for the $50. It you lose signal. Press the powered button wait to mins. Turn back on.

We were up front about being homeless, living off-grid in the woods. The MetroPCS salesperson is the one who gave us a working address. We have it hooked up to a MIMO 4X4 antenna. For now I just disconnected the GPS. It's only been 2 days since they started to verify and we paid our bill today. It's still on the unlimited plan.
  • We got our t Mobile gateway at an RV show in my area in early 2023. They were there in 2024. They were actively promoting the home Internet for mobile use all over the country. I think their success caught up with them, and too much usage was overwhelming their towers.

We love your channel by the way. We changed the T-Mobile a year ago under a business plan covering 2 cell phones. We 100% boondocks and rely on our cell hot spot with zero issues. That works for us.
  • @lotsoflife8236
I understand the need to restrict plans to be active in the home area, but it was nice to know that if you travel to a place with limited Internet that you could take your own. I would really love to know the reason why raising the price to over 3 times higher was needed.
  • Its been amazing to see how the options have changed over the years. When we were out in Kelton last fall. I had 26 devices connected to our starlink. Its been "suspended" since we moved back into our house last Nov. I didn't un suspend it when we went out to Kelton again a few weeks ago and all my grandkids were upset with me. I told them for a couple days they would survive without their tablets and phones. My plan is to fire it up again when we head to the Lake in a couple weeks as the cell service there is non exsistant. Safe travels Mullens Family.

This was a great rant! Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful family buddy 👍😎 thank you, very informative 😊

We're just getting started in the RV life. I'm old, broken and retired but my wife is still working and our daughter will be starting school in a couple years so, internet is important for us. So far T-Mobile magenta plan has worked well for us. Next week we're heading to TT Green Mountain, where I first found your channel, for two weeks. That one has me a bit concerned, but there's a Starbucks and McD nearby. Let us know how the connect ten goes, it might be an option for us in the future.
  • @johnvore
I love T-Mobile home. I constantly get 600 down and 30 up. Now I took the SIM out and put it in a Chester modem. Even without an external antenna that chest or modem gets an amazing signal. T-Mobile never knows where that Chester modem is.
  • @jaygraves2399
Other negative point is that you can't stream 4k on the Away Plan.
  • @bajaskier
Never got T-mobile to work at home less than 2 miles from the tower; slower than snails when the signal did connect.
  • @NoMercyFtw
That's the current model with every company new and old to come out with something new fantastic price amazing affordable and then once they get everyone locked in they got you and they start slowing down the speeds increasing the prices splitting up in the tiers
  • @AwfullWaffle
They must have scrapped that idea quick. I’m currently streaming your video on my new t-mobile home plan that I set up 2 weeks ago. I am 50 miles away from home and it’s working perfectly. I was a new T-Mobile customer and yet was only offered one tier of service which was unlimited for $50 per month but also got it discounted to $45 for autopay. I sure hope they saw that what you’re talking about was a terrible idea and went back and that’s why I got the good deal that I can travel with. I’m going to be pissed if the price goes up and it stops working on the road. Thanks for the vid!
