  • First episode will be the council saying "while master Yoda is away making good relations with the Wookies, we need to handle this issue ourselves, if news gets out it would make the civilian populace question the trust of the Jedi and the senate question our ability to keep peace" or some other bullcrap.

Remember this is Frozen with Light Sabers.

One of the biggest problems is the fact that the way these shows are made ain’t convincing anyone anymore. I tried figuring out what the hell newer shows were missing 9/10 times that old shows didn’t. It’s that it felt authentic then. You see Anakin, Obi-wan, Padme, Luke, etc. and those movies felt real. That story was never forgotten. The world was always present and the characters corresponded to it. Now-a-days they just blab on about peace and light and Jedi and then storm troopers get knocked out wit a face palm.

Notice at the beginning when it says “From The Studio That Brought You”, it mentions every live action show except Kenobi 🤣🤣
  • @Maexs115
I hope this is not another Reeva kind of show. Redemption of the dagger girl, not sure if she's the actual acolyte
  • @clonedavenger
If you ever told me back in the day that I would be burnt out on star wars content, I'd say you were smokin too much crack. But here we are, a crackhead society. Also, the lack of aliens is just getting super old.

10:45 I used to think this too but I actually realized after watching the Phantom Menace last night that this isn’t exactly true. Yoda mentions at the end of the movie “Always two there are. No more, no less. A Master and an apprentice.” How the hell does Yoda know this? The entire point of the Rule of Two is that it’s supposed to be a way the Sith stay hidden from the Jedi while they plot their takeover. If Yoda knows about the Rule of Two then this contradicts a lot of what we once thought about the Sith’s plan. It’s also revealed that Yoda knows about Darth Bane in the Clone Wars and that he is the one who invented the Rule of Two. This just further proves Yoda knew much more about the Sith then what we initially thought. If the Jedi had a run in with the Sith in the High Republic and thought to have beaten them then it would make a lot of sense as to how he knows so much about the Sith. Also Yoda and the rest of the higher ranking Jedi have kept secrets from the rest of the order in the past, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the council during the time of the high republic kept the Sith a secret.

From the studio that brought you " The Mandalorian" & "Andor" & "Ashoka" 😂 Dont forget THE SEQUELS, OBI-WAN & BOBA! Man, they must think we're idiots!😂
  • @gleadr6869
Not going to shit on it, as it's not out yet. I'll reserve judgement for when I watch it.
  • @mdw505
This looks like the Star Wars equivalent of Rings of power
  • @Jenobiskywalker
Why does the dialogue at the beginning sound like a documentary interview voice 😂
  • Plot actually looks promising. I think the biggest issue with the "feel" is the dialogue isn't stiff or romantic enough. That's one of the tell-tale parts of a the Star Wars vibe, and you can really feel how it's missing in modern Star Wars INCLUDING in the parks. It's mostly a delivery thing I think.

12:00 don’t worry none of it makes sense anyway. For instance, Anakin being the chosen one meant he’d bring balance to the force. Yet the force at that point was all good guys according to the Jedi who hadn’t seen a Sith in thousands of years or whatever. So how did anyone not see that Anakin would turn to the dark side and thus “balance” the force by counterbalancing the “good” the Jedi order represented?

I feel like that there are 3 possible outcomes of how this "sith thingy" could possibly end. 1) As Theory says, none of the Jedi will survive and everyone who has seen this acolyte will die, therefore noone would be able to report the seeing of the Sith and Jedi would wrap the whole situation as some weird accident or smth. 2) Some survives and reports the seeings of the Sith, but proud and powerfull Jedi would deny those claims, frame the individual as a lunatic and the whole situation would be classified as fake news, therefore quickly forgotten. 3) There won't be any Sith seen, just some Dark / Fallen Jedi. Therefore the statement won't derailed and still partially truthful, as the Jedi won't see this situation as encountering the sith, but just as an encounter with dark side user. The mask which looks kinda like an Abeloth smile, could be our escape goat too. The Rule of two wouldn't be broken as this acolyte would get her powers from Abeloth and not from true Sith lineage. Darth Tenebrous could be freely chillin' in the galaxy watching how this events will wrap up without involving himself in it.

Ki adi Mundi could just of been out of the loop. Honestly, the man was confused every time he talked, I don’t think his cucumber brain retained much information.
  • @StarWarsGeek_03
I saw a clip from the acolyte after the phantom menace movie and it was actually cool and got me more excited than the trailers have. With that said I did enjoy this trailer more than the first teaser. I am about 65# worried and 35%excited
  • @maccagamingx
I really want this to be good we need a new story, new characters, the dark side user at the end look cool ngl
  • I do like the idea that they are in a time period that pre-dates the Skywalker saga. I have read comments about Ki Adi Mundi's statement in the Phantom Menace that the Sith have been extinct for a millennium. But, we have to also remember that at the end of the film Yoda mentions to Mace Windu (at Qui Gon Jinn's funeral) that the Sith always exists in two's: a Master and an Apprentice. So, for Yoda to be aware of this post Darth Bane Sith tradition he would have to have either encountered a Sith or a Jedi from the era of this Acolyte mini-series must have encountered a Sith and documented it for Yoda to be aware of it. Also on a side note, slow the second Acolyte trailer down when the villain gets ready to throw the red light saber. You notice that the villain appears to be wearing short sleeves exposing his/her arms. However in the first Acolyte trailer the arm of the person catching the red light saber appears to be wearing long sleeves like a robe. So, it could very well be two Sith lords surrounding the Jedi in that scene (maybe Yoda is present there as well). Just a thought 😊

Remember this is Disney. Not Star Wars
