US vs Serbia semi finals was one of the best basketball games of all time. Steph Curry all time clutch vs France
  • Team USA saw and felt Curry getting in "that zone" and fed him, encouraged him. That just added to the greatness and the respect. They knew it was Curry's time.

What kind of argument is the mustache man arguing about the Curry shot being not needed since they would have won without it. The shot is iconic because it was the culmination of all the four shots he hit to win the game. France was also hitting their shots at the end. Decolo hit a bank shot, Batum hit a three pointer then Wemby hit another three. Steph held them at bay by hitting his four three pointers and the last shot was the golden dagger.

I don't usually agree with Perk, but I'm with him on this one. The shot paired with the other shots that Steph made leading up to it is what makes it so iconic and memorable. I've been watching Steph play for over a decade, and these last two games are easily a top 3 Steph moment for me.

Don't know who mustache guy is but I disagree. Without Curry getting insanely hot from 3 and going 17/26 in the semi-final and final game Team USA would NOT have won. That last shot over the 2 defenders was just the dagger, but France had some momentum and could have very well come back. As for Serbia they could have very well won the semi-final game if not for Curry's heroic. Good on Perk for mentioning the other shots Curry hit and not just that one.
  • He's absolutely wrong, Steph scored 12 straight?! We had the 6pt lead because HE CARRIED US THERE. Get this hairy lip random off the panel
  • Everyone on First Take looked at Joe like he was crazy when Joe said Curry’s shot didn’t matter to winning the gold. Its crazy
  • @cryogeneric
France was down 3 when Curry started his run. You have to dig deep to try and say that last shot wasn't very relevant :\ It *sealed* the game

Perk is right. It’s not about that particular shot, but the set of daggers in the last 2 minutes that led up to that shot. 2 minutes was way more than enough for France to have taken full control but Steph’s set of daggers changed the trajectory and solidified Gold for USA.

You all gonna forget Durant huge shot at the end of 4th vs Serbia? That shot puts USA up 2 possessions. It was an amazing 1 on 1 hard shot
  • The Chef was cookin.....and he had that gold medal recipe ready
  • @goddy510
The shot itself may not be remarkable, but the fact that it capped off a flurry of shots makes it iconic. Context matters
  • Y it take so long to get updated on YouTube? My goodness I've been waiting to see everyone's reactions
  • @asdfasdfasf8
Joe soundin like a hater that didnt watch the game
  • @StarFox6.4
It's not just one shot, birdbrain. The last shot was the icing. Perk is right
  • @LAUSTINDASAUCE
I remember where I was when Dan scored 2 for the other team😂
  • @m.mazzei
If you stretch out his last three minutes into a 40 minute FIBA game, he’d have made around 52 3-pointers.
  • @Maikeru305
The way that mustache comment just slid right in from the side lmao good vibes moment there
