The biggest trap of working abroad is a better quality of life. Once you get used to it, its hard to come back 🙏
  • @raghuvalab
I agree its a trap. After this trap people are habituated to stay there and the willingness to come back will reduce a lot. But after they realize they becomes old and kids grow older and in India there will be nobody for them to even recognize. So at the end of their life stage they feel like why i didn't go back to India when they got a chance. The same is shown in the film Dunki. By this time people should get mature like go abroad stay for some years and they should come back at any cost.
  • It depends on case to case basis, country one is planning to go. I wouldn’t say freedom is much of an issues if you are with good employers.

It is always better to settle down in your country of birth. However, staying in US for around 5 to 10 years and bringing savings to your home country can make a huge difference in ones life.

I agree. Life back in India was far luxurious. It is becoming tougher day by day to keep a decent lifestyle.

Can't agree more on this.. Even in leadership and policy making , going abroad and climb up the ladder is not easy as it used to be.. all it comes down to oneself priorities.. you are doing awesome to make that awareness.. thanks Raju.
  • The whole quality of life thing is subjective. There are pros and cons to living in both India and the US. For me, life inside the home is better in India. Having my people around me and access to affordable healthcare and house help are things that I miss about India. However, life outside the home is better in the US. The infrastructure is better, there are more things to do, and the general quality of life is higher.

Your fundamental assumption of abroad = USA is itself limited. A lot of the examples you are giving are related to USA and not other countries.
