I grew up highly allergic to cats and literally hates them. 4 years ago we found 4 kittens abandoned near my work. My wife loves all animals and for whatever reason I volunteered to take 1 home. It was that or they were going to be brought to a shelter. Still to this day I have no idea why I brought one home...but I am glad I did. Also, somehow my allergies to cats disappeared. We now have 4 cats, all of them rescues or kittens who were abandoned or abused. All 4 of them will cuddle with me and not my wife 😅. I always act like this granny and play it off like I hate them when the reality is they changed my life as much as I've changed theirs
