DRM never worked, will never work and will always make games worse.

Wow, that is Unacceptable! I was thinking I'd like to go through the prince of persia games, but I will NOT be getting the steam version, I've already owned them once, so I'll wait until I upgrade my computer and just emulate them. (comment mirrored on Odysee)

This is why DRM needs to stop, it ruins everything for everyone.

Unfortunately PC is this way, and for some reason they accept it. I play unreal tournament (3) a lot, that thing used game spy, when that thing got shutted down they AT LEAST updated the game so there wasnt at least a lot of problems, I can play it, with a little of work I can play it online. A lot of people says that piracy is the way (something that at the same time damages the platform) but that's a barrier for some users and it's something that can even get you in problems... Just to add to the whole thing, practically everything from steam has a drm, even if the game doesn't tells you, actually it just tells you when it has a drm from a third party but practically all the games in steam has drm, so imagine that one day steam got several days down and that drm hasnt a way to connect, practically this from Ubisoft but for everything.
