Ever wondered why humans are compatible with the Necron biotransference machines? That’s definitely a good topic to ponder.
  • @o.w.n.1327
Humans really did have the Mantle of Responsibility
  • @Mgauge
I like the last theory purely because it's almost scary enough to get the Eldar to stop posturing for few minutes.
  • I am laughing my ass off at how OP Blanks are against Eldar. I legit did not realize how big of a counter they were or how a Culexus assassin made Eldard fucking Ulthran basically shit himself I wanna see PancreasNoWork’s reaction to this.
  • @badassgibus
You are missing a big part about human v eldar. Eldar had gotten most of there tech from the old ones and over 60 million years, where as humanity in just like 50k years got atleast somewhat into that ball park by them selves. Humans also got screwed by there ai going rogue, which probably happened cause they tried to plug an ai into the warp without knowledge about chaos ( thanks for telling anyone about that big E)

11:45 Really weird that Eldrad thinks blanks and the Assassinorum blanks will be the ‘doom of humanity’ like in the grand scheme of things they are probably one of the safest things to be around since you’d have no worries about chaos issues just the sorta null aura they have. Although I suppose an Eldar would think that with Blanks being that much of a threat to them.

Yeah something that always bothered me about humanity. The Old Ones created humanity near the end of the War in Heaven, when they were losing the war against the C'tan, Necrons and then finally the Enslavers/Daemons of the Warp. The Old Ones response to a problem was to create a new race to deal with it all and then uplift them. Then point them at their problem and let them solve it. The war ends and humanity was never uplifted. But on its own Humanity out nowhere produces three things no other race has. The most powerful Pysker to have ever lived the EoM, true Immortals (perhaps like the Old Ones immortality) in the Perpetuals and Blanks/Nulls. While at the same time being generally a non-pysker race (though producing small numbers of pyskers since rise modern man 90,000 years ago) is said to be linked incredibly close to the Warp and Gods of Chaos even before numbering in the trillions. Then at end of Horus Hersey we have Eldred saying that Humanity is the bulwark against Chaos not the source of it. All suggesting Humanity was intend to be the Old Ones greatest weapon race/biological weapon. But the War in Heaven ended before they use them. But now millions of years later with fall of Aldari, rise of the Orks, wakening of the Necrons, the spread of Chaos and coming of Tyranids. Suddenly Humanity conveniently is the one force capable of saving all life in the galaxy? Suggesting Humanity is the Old Ones greatest creation, where the falling Eldar meets the rise Ork. Humanity may well be the Old Ones Doomsday weapon.

Humans are very obviously a balanced middle ground between orks and eldar as they seem to be extremes of conceptual design philsophy where the old ones took a look at their initial creations and decided to combine the best of both aspects while giving humans time to evolve. I think the problem with both the orks and the eldar is that essentially all their greatness was built into them on a pure instinctual level while humanity has to suffer to develop themselves.
  • I think Humans being the counter of the Eldar works. Although I have a theory the Krorks didn't devolve into Orks, but are part of the Orkoid life cycle which requires the Old Ones to activate. Meaning rebelling Kroks would have to rely on the weaker Orks for reinforcements, while Loyalist Kroks would get Krok reinforcements alongside the Old Ones.
  • A thought, if mankind was made by the old ones, when the younger races woke the Primordial Annihilator, the foces of the annihilator saw what the Old Ones had planned for mankind. And co-opted it.
  • @Mrwarfull
There is an alternate time line out there, where humanity is used, and after a few 100,000 year mankind spawns an god of sacrifice and deference that helps to smash the necrons.
  • @rokinz3270
My personal theory was that the old ones uplifted life they found on earth and used it to create the Eldar and Jakero. What was left was either only minorly tampered with or left to evolve on its own. The reason humanity is better than the Eldar is we are the product of natural selection whilst they are a weapon crafted by their masters.

This makes me believe more that at least one of the lost Primarchs had to be a pretty super powerful blank, without the drawbacks of being one, that even the Emperor was weary of. God I hope Subject XI is actually a primarch that's also the super powerful blank I just mentioned who is only locked up because they could act as another contingency plan if chaos decides to invade Terra itself.
  • Humans strike me as the support services to the armed forces of Krork and Aeldari. The farmers and wall builders/holders etc.
  • @petra4385
A little sidenote for the quote about the eldar beating dark age of tech humanity. The quote says they beat the "soulless legions of your ancestors" last I read it. So it's very likely that they beat the men of iron during their uprising which also lines up with xenos getting involved in the men of iron uprising. Also I think the AI thing should also be thought about since the men of iron are very different to even the AI of the tau. If we think about it humanity is the only other species to create sentient life. The T'au can copy and paste you into a computer, the necrons could do something similar. But humans made a separate species.

i like to think that the forgotten primarch was the emperors attempt at creating the ultimate anti psyker. he succeeded but then the sons got scattered so instead of being raised by big E himself as the ultimate weapon, he would end up on a normal planet go through more childhood trauma than kurze, mortarion and angron combined as the entire planet he was on could constantly feel his null aura and would likely unite against him.
  • I love the dramatic Susan scene. It really clarified a lot of lore that I was curious about
