This sprawling action adventure has way more meat on its bones than you may first expect if you're only looking for a quick dive into a Tim Burton-esque wonderland. Lost in Random is loaded with tons of side quests, interesting lore, and a decent semi-real-time, semi-turn-based combat system that ends up getting bogged down by dumb enemy AI. Beyond that, the five worlds that follow the relatively drab intro section each offer their own unique quirks, struggles, and characters that won't be forgotten any time soon.

Played the whole thing and loved it, needs a sequel and they will totally miss a trick if it ain’t called ‘Beyond Random’

Combat in this game is super fun, and the atmosphere and story of this game are top notch. Game DESPERATELY needs a sequel, it was so incredible!!

Story is great, design is incredible, the narrator has me laughing quite a bit.. But this review is not wrong when it comes to the combat. Battles do feel like they last 15-20m each and slows the whole game down substantially. Especially if you die during a boss fight/event.

This is such an alluring style! Psychonauts 2 also has this kind of style and it adds to the overall charm of the game.
