Mark and Ethan talking about UA: "It was profound, it gave us a sense of purpose and fulfillment" Actual UA content: The postman walking in on a gagged Mark being fed eggs by catboy Ethan with a sex paddle

These guys have so much chemistry imagine if they made a channel together or something

Found Unus Annus had been created shortly after returning home from a 30 day stint in drug rehab. It was hilarious and having those daily videos was a weird rhythm that kept me going for my first few months of sobriety and getting my life back together. Fast forward a year later I'm happy in my job, still sober, and in my own apartment staying up till 3 am watching the live stream and it all ended. It was sad but I was glad for the amazing ride. Thank you, both of you, for being there in my hardest days when you never knew me.
-
I miss the 'Markiplier Makes' videos. My favorite joke from Ethan was, "You don't tell Heapass what to do." Edit: THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR THE LIKES.
-
I haven’t heard these two reflect on Unus Annus like this in forever… it was relieving to hear. Also I’d love to see more videos with these two. I missed them.
-
Lixian putting the Disclaimer Song at the beginning brought so many emotions out of me... oh man... is this what they call... joy?
-
I'd love for you two to collaborate together again, doesn't even have to be "redacted " related. You two just work off each other so well
-
Ethan's point about it just being darkness afterwards is absolutely true from my perspective as a viewer. For a whole year we'd spent the day getting excited to see what today's video was going to be and just enjoying being involved in something that you felt was a mark (no pun intended) in internet history. When it ended, it was a true fulfillment of the unnus annus theme of death and mortality, because it truly did feel like a death...something you'd become so accustomed to experiencing as a daily part of your life was suddenly gone, and there was an emptiness left in that space. Still, though, it was an amazing thing to bear witness to.

Mark: The clock is still ticking Ethan: UNUS ANNUS, UNUS ANNUS Mark: Screaming
-
I’ll never forget the “darkness” after Unus Annus ended. I shut my phone off and laid in my room in silence at 2am for 30mins just being in my feels. I was there for the entire ride and when it ended it was so surreal.
-
Is it odd to say that this video gave me a sense of closure? I’m ashamed to say that I have been clinging to Unus Annus for way too long, but seeing Mark and Ethan laugh, joke, and converse together brought an incredible smile to my face.
-
clock starts ticking Mark: the clock is always ticking. Ethan: UNUS ANNUS UNUS ANNUS screaming from mark and ethan
-
I'm so glad that Ethan mentioned us being sat with the darkness after the last unus annus stream, it was such an odd feeling.
-
Glad Ethan got through this okay. It must have been nerve-wracking having to talk to a psychopath who licks Takis and throws them away.
-
im so glad ethan mentioned the fan perspective on unus annus ending bc let me tell you it was JARRING. like going from having the kind of communal feeling of watching a stream like that and everyone being there altogether, to the screen going black and being sat in your room alone. it was such an odd feeling, and i don’t think i’ll ever experience a feeling like that again. and it really was an EXPERIENCE. no one will ever be able to replicate that again, and i think both of you should be really proud of that
-
I would love to see an episode with Lixian, hopefully he does one.

The minute I heard the faint “hey now don’t try this at hooome…” I was whisked away to two years ago when [REDACTED] was still around and these two made every day better with their piss drinking antics
-
"5, 4, 3, 2, 1, darkness" was SPOT on. I distinctly remember the stream ending, the screen going dark, and suddenly being in complete darkness and crying. And then I was texting people about it who hadn't even seen any videos but watched the stream and I had never felt both so alone and so surrounded by people at the same time. That sense of community was unbelievable.
-
What Ethan said about the end of the Unus Annus livestream is absolutely true. I just remember being up at 3AM (EST), listening to these dorks talking, and then suddenly - silence. I had to call a friend who was also watching the livestream and just talk to him for another hour because I couldn’t deal with so much quiet in a moment that felt so significant. Y’all really did make us feel a lot for the channel and community you built.

Unus Annus in one sentence: You had to be there.
