A lot of modern anti cheat stuff wants to run at kernel level, a lot more want to do a lot of really uncomfortable data mining/analytics on your PC. Always another revenue stream, you know? Great video. I have no intention of using 11, but I live for workarounds for this kind of stuff. :)

Thanks Rich/CyberCPU Tech, this worked perfectly well, and I upgraded from Windows 10 Pro to 11 on a 7-year-old PC, in fact both Terminal/Powershell and Windows Security worked without the tweaks you mentioned around the end of the video. 👍👍

Worked for me! Running Win11 on mac, booting from Boot Camp. It's great that YouTube saw their mistake and returned this video, I think Microsoft has already changed their requirements for installing, many are going around bs anyway . . . keep up the great work.
