Recognized the graphical style from lost in vivo instantly, glad to see kira is still killing it based off the steam reviews so far.

The moment he said this was made by the same devs as Spooky's House of Jumpscares and Lost in Vivo, my interest was elevated tremendously. It also made the anime girls and artstyle make much more sense immediately.

Need more games that have this intimate D&D feel

I'm looking forward to where the game goes from here. For Early Access, it has more than enough content for you to get a good feel for it. You can tell that the dev was inspired by several different RPGs based on the menu aesthetics, level up mechanic, and some of the map designs. I took two steps into the lower sewer section and it immediately reminded me of the Underworks of Vivec from Morrowind.

Its funny to use a picture of miyazaki on a game that was inspired by a game series that miyazaki had no part of lol

Nice to see you play this game! It is definitely worth people's attention and time in my opinion. You are right though, you definitely skipped over a bunch of it by blitzing through areas instead of exploring them. To find every weapon and fully upgrade them, find every spell, and scour every area can take a good 6-8 hours or more depending on how quick you are, and that will likely still leave some secrets and easter eggs to discover. Definitely not a bare-bones early-access title by any means, barring the skeletons. The game can indeed be quite slow at first, but that's why the SPD stat is there, though it does sacrifice the other benefits you could have from levelling the other stats instead. INT lowers cast times, so you'll want to level that up to really go wild with the Wind Dash ability you found. You can literally fly across the maps if you spam it. There's also another spell in the game that increases walk speed for a duration, can stack, and is practically free to cast, so the game does have options for it's deliberately slow walk speed if it bothers you.

Cool to see Vin playing this! I really enjoyed it when I played through all the current content

Since this video has been out, at least 2 major updates were released. It was the castle update and the boiling grotto update. I think Vinny should revisit this game, after all it’s changed a bit

I feel better knowing that you are actually very happy with the hours you put in and what content you put out. I loved your old stuff but knowing that it was creating a toxic lifestyle for you makes it feel all the more better to watch your content now. Have been watching since roughly 2011 and I have yet to stop. Love you Vinny. Always glad to watch your content :)
