    Lovely coverage, fantastic to see in colour for the first time. Also great that we see Foinavon in the winner's enclosure, without those enormous blinkers! My favourite National.
  • Foinavon tuvo mucha suerte, pero mantuvo el tipo muy dignamente y estuvo a la altura de las circunstancias. Vi esta carrera en directo por la tele siendo un niño y se me quedó grabada para siempre. Qué bueno verlo en color y con una calidad tan excepcional!

    I loved the old Aintree, with the big old stables, and the railway sidings.

    We are told they used to hunt around on the 1st circuit but these are going a right steady clip imo
