Commenting for the algorithm. Seriously this guide is fantastic, I don’t think it’s possible to make a clearer guide

I've been playing 3D era GTA games after many years. I played San Andreas on PC after idk 8 years or so since I last finished it on my Xbox 360 (on the back compat xbox og copy not the shitty mobile port to 360). I've added many quality of life mods and stuff I always wanted to try like First person mod, ragdoll physics and Half Life movement. I did all the stuff everyone recommended like sky gfx, Project2dfx, Proj Immerse yourself, properfixes, the works. And that included adding crash info and srclog to tell me if anything went wrong. My 100% save file reads 70 hours of playtime. I'm sure it's more than that because somedays i'd just cheat in a heli and wreak cars in vigilante missions for hours while listening to custom tracks or a podcasts to unwind and not saving the game because I activated a cheat and didn't want to cheats on my actual save file or cheat using a trainer. ALL THAT TIME, I got 26-34 fps in city centers of LS, SF and LV. If I was in corners or looking towards the oceans I got like 45-58 fps. I got high fps in interiors and all the time I thought it was because of my old cpu and the old game being taxed by increased draw distances and enhanced mods due to Porj. 2dfx, MixSets, OpenLimitAdjust, SkyGfx Neo Reflections and everything else. While also wondering what PC would it take to run it at 60+ fps and how lucky I was I didn't need the frame limiter. I sat finished SA and was going though your vids again for more modding ideas and check to see what I can improve on AND JUST REALIZED THAT SCRLogs SHOULD BE DISABLED. I NEVER DID THAT. I played the whole game with it on. I read the .ini and when it said disable it I thought, huh, big deal my PC can handle a few calls per second. IT DID NOT. I disabled it and got like 20 fps more. Citites are running at 40-50 and everywhere else is above 60. Thanks TJGM. Actual pillar of the modding community.
  • Damn man you are pumping these out! How long have you been sitting on these? ;) Great job.

If i use ENB The Game is One Failure - Only if i use him @my Essential Mod Backup it works. But with all this mods it´s pure disaster :D and i just saw i post it on the wrong video 😆😆
  • Got classic San Andreas modded with enhanced graphics, first person perspective, and stereoscopic 3D in the rokid xr glasses. 🤷 Better than VR
  • i need help regarding a bug. first of all, thank you for your indepth guide and tutorial. my problem is using silent patch mod, makes spraying enemies bounce back. normally, they just bend cover and cough but having silent patch and that only makes the enemies bounce back and high. high enough to make them clear fences. gameplay wise, this is a non-issue but i would love to turn it back to normal.
  • hmm seem work for me but i need to inform about the mod you teached us, Ladder Mod for some reason, when i jump down and almostly touch the water (just to test) game crashes is there anyway to fix it?
  • @muratthaqi6042

Hey man thanks a lot for these well-made tutorials. Unfortunately for me I really can't make it work without crashing. I've been trying to make this work without crashing for a month but no success. I have like 10 different versions of SA in my PC, backups and tests. The main problem is especially regarding the texture mods. At first I thought that whenever I drive too fast, the game doesn't have enough time to load everything, missing textures appear than crash. Afterwards I tried driving slowly but this still happens at some point. I tested with different mods: Open Limit Adjuster, Improved Streaming etc. Left two mods at a time, three mods, one mod, the game still crashes at some point. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

Buddy, I am trying to install SA DirectX 2.0 but it gives me this error : "The application was unable to start correctly 0xc000001d, click ok to close application" . How to bypass that? Thanks a lot, subscribed!
  • @gulchbrammer1967
This isn't necessarily a crash, but I've noticed that when I go to the controller settings, the "Configure controls" (with the Mouse & Keyboard / Joypad options) doesn't show up. Is there a specific mod that causes (or fixes) this? Edit: I've moved the Ginput.asi/.ini files out of the main folder and it seems to show up now, I'll probably figure it out Edit 2: Pretty much works now

Not sure what to do, but scrlog is telling me that a script called "bikes" is crashing my game... I don't even see a script called "bikes" anywhere in CLEO
