Not using Beatrice in stand by phase. Not negating the network he has fairies from pitching Eva in his turn. Could have waited until you end your main phase and using masquareena to summon underworld goddess using slifer but instead, immediately making borrel using masquareena without any good reason might as well making it without masquareena in the first place. 100% deserve to lose.

If you're using herald and the opponent uses maxx c, just stop summoning, if the turn ends with more cards in their hamd herald ain't stopping all of it but if you do have more cards then it's a free win
