I was working on another idea for a video when my ADHD brain decided to get hyper focused on thinking about my personal top five favorite ships in Star Trek Online so that's the video now. These aren't necessarily the most meta ships in the game, they're just ships I really like for my own reasons. What are some of your favorite ships?

The Lexington has quickly become my favourite ship too. I started playing STO so I could get a decent look at the Odyssey Class and just fell in love with it. Then the Lexington came along with its torpedo pod, phaser lance and hanger bay and I've struggled to find a ship I enjoy flying as much ever since. Plus as I use it for my main, it's super convenient to have an ISS version for my Terran Captain Plus having an account-wide miracle worker has made Tour the Galaxy much quicker so that’s always helpful

My God. That Connie build. The angles on the beams. It's... It's beautiful. My number 1 is the NX-Refit. I have collected 3 of the Synergy set and use a Phaser DBB build. She's fast, she hits like a truck, and looks amazing.
  • My flagship, the USS Archangel NX-998406-F is a Lexington Class Dreadnaught. I love it!!! I have used the Phased Quantum tech mostly. Played around with different builds but find that one works the best. Since the Phased Quantum equipment doesn't have a warp core, I use the gamma warp core. Beam and cannons are mostly 32C weapons... Forward torpedoes are the phased quantum, aft torpedoes are the gravimetric and I also have a tri-cobalt mine. With all my additional abilities well timed and used, I can get a max DP of 200 000 (approx.) with a torpedo strike. Forward cannons and beams do roughly 1200dp each... So I am happy with that build.

The Lexington is definitely my new favorite! It's such a great ship both visually and performancewise. Great list! :D

During the last Delta recruit event I setup a captain flying the Clarke Multi-Mission Cruiser. I love the way that ship looks. I've tried a few different pets but stuck with the Yellowstones. I rarely use forward cannons, but I need the quad to complete the battle cloak from the Defiant. I picked traits that buff my team and hangar pets and use command abilities. Wish I had space for the Delta Flight console for a little better turning but I'm still having fun with it.

Hey Stu, really great video. I got 15 characters and the Lexington is now the daily driver ship on 7 of them. Back when I started playing in 2010 I got the Tac Star Cruiser just for the looks. Eventually as this game evolved and I learned a thing or two there wasn't any reason to play the old flagships. When the MW ships came out, they all just seemed to be amazing at multiple levels since I really like beams (MAS/NSB for the beams, 13 consoles, and the Cyclical Warp Drive for daily sanity). I've got many premium ships, but the Lexington feels so premium even though it's a C-Store ship (two specializations, phaser lance) that I end up turning in premium ships for the Lexington. In terms of looks, I really like the Temporal Dreadnaughts on all 3 factions, but Temporal just isn't as good as beams, and whenever my Quantum Slipstream Drive turns off in sector space I end up wondering how on earth something called a Universe Class, that in lore can travel between galaxies, has to drop out of the Quantum Slipstream Drive so often like any regular ship. In many ways too, I like the Lexington over the Inquiry and the Vaadwaur MW Jugg as well, which is probably the ships in highest competition with the Lex. The Lex is just such an amazing daily driver of dps, looks, ease of use, and convenience. It does Advanced ques perfectly with beams. Mobs in Advanced die too quickly for Torps and the Lex just tears though Adv mobs so easily. I like keeping with lore, so on my Roms I went and put the cosmetic Delta shields and engine with the 8472 deflector to deliver a nice glowing green Lexington. I am definitely going to have to try out the Adamant Heavy Raider after this review, it sounds like fun.

For me the No.1 ship always gonna be the Intrepid ( Voyager ) ship, i grown up on the Voyager series. I love the design and the slick look of it. After the Voyager i like the Odyssey class, the Galaxy Class, the TMP Constitution / TOS Constitution. But i like many ship types what good looking for my eyes. :)

My "I just made this for fun and it's tons of fun" ship is my Maquis Raider. 2 turrets (sometimes single cannons) and 2 360 beams, wide angle kentari missiles, and black out mines. All the weapon types so I'm always getting a solid benefit from Mixed Armament. I use pilot primary and intel secondary. I use the Bajor 4 set for the PBAOE and hull scraping, and it's turning radius lets me stay full speed (for the pilot trait bonus) while I zip tight circles around my target benefiting from my firing arcs and narrow sensor bands. It's a lot of fun to fly.

I've been flying a Sojourner on my main for ages and have debated "upgrading" to the Lexington since it came out. You may have just convinced me to go ahead and grab it with this video.

I just returned to STO and quite behind in stuff, especially universal consoles and the like but I did pick up the lexington based off your videos and im loving her. I do remove the "top hat" but thats cause i like a more sleaker style in my ships. My other go to is the Vengeance style ship, seems i got a thing for Dreadnoughts ^^
  • @PDYork
In this video, we learn the importance of watching videos all the way through. When you mentioned the the Command Oddy I was like "wow, over the Lexington? Okay then" only to realize you're an oddy fanboy like me! And I too am partial to fun builds also.
  • I love the galaxy class retro fit the fact that it comes with saucer seperation I love
  • @focusonrevenues
A year later I just switched over to the Lexington with a cannon scatter volley spiral disruptor turret build. Talk about a lazy boat with 8 epic disruptor isomag consoles on it. It is a great lazy boat with that enabled and fire at will just for the addition CSV trigger and able to do 100k DPS, my most powerful ship now.
  • @olecwow
finally got around to buy the lexi a few days ago (had some zen left) and have to say im a huge fan of it, looking into your build since i really like it ;) my personal tot 5 - 5: Terran dreadnought cruiser (legendary) - 4: Fleet soyuz - 3: Adamant - 2: Fleet gagarin - 1: Lexington
  • @Jay-ql4gp
My favorite ship for quite some time now, is the Legendary D7. I just love the D7 and this one has all the wonderful D7 goodness to it. I also love the Lexington. I still have the original Odyssey that I got for free from Cryptic just because I was in the game for so long.
  • @tsunami729
I’m still partial to my Fleet Assault Cruiser….few ships look as beautiful as a Sovereign class
  • Mine is the Dhailkhina at the moment, it’s become my absolute go to for most things. Fast, manoeuvre-able and for a ship of its size it hits very hard!
  • @kevinmurphy65
Mine are pretty standard. Most of the time I'm in a Fleet Avenger T-6X, Fleet Heavy Strike Wing Escort T-6X, and the Fleet command Assault cruiser T-6X, so that gives me a small medium and large. Once I get the campaign progress, getting the Lex.
  • @WildKazoo
My favorite will always be the Gagarin, but the Lexington is a very, very close second. Although, I also prefer using the Yorktown skin on it.
  • @thestokes91
They really did knock the 12th bundle out of the park didn't they (except for the Cygnus sadly) The fact that they also released the ships individually for people that only want to buy one was just icing on the cake.
