I don’t buy Sandwich Bread anymore! Quick 2 Ingredient Recipe (No yeast, no kneading, no machine)

Published 2024-04-02
With no yeast, no kneading, and no bread machine needed and no waiting around for the dough to rise. This is why I don't buy Sandwhich bread anymore. Such a Quick two ingredient recipe. Store bought bread can be delicious, but something I eat almost everyday I'd rather make it so I can avoid all the preservatives and extra ingredients. This bread is in the oven in minutes!

Oh my goodness Pam.....I made this bread last week and it was so delicious my husband and I ate the entire loaf in 2 days! It came out perfect. After i removed it from oven while it was still hot i took a stick of butter and rolled it over the top, sides and bottom of loaf to help soften the crust. Then after the loaf completely cooled and after we'd already eaten half the loaf...(couldnt help it, it was so delicious) I put remainder of loaf into a large ziplock baggie and set it on my counter. Next day the crust was totally soften and the bread was even more delicious the next day. We couldn't stop eating it. The entire loaf gone after just 2 days. This bread is so flavorful with a hint of sweet vanilla. So yummy! Thank you so much for this recipe. I've shared your Youtube with several freinds and family. I bought the same brand yogurt (form walmart) as you used. I also grabbed some of the strawberry yogurt (same brand). Thought I'd try making a strawberry bread with this method. Have you tried this bread using the strawberry yogurt ?
  • Ma’am, this is the first I’ve seen of your channel and I’ve made the important decision to adopt you. You are now my mom. 😊

There really were two ingredients. You deserve a medal. This lady has a good voice to listen to

Over half a million views and only 40,000 thumbs up?? How can we do miss Pam this way? She deserves ALL the likes! 😊
  • Sweetie turn that loaf on its side when you carve warm bread. It won't fight you in that delicate dance between blade & softness. Taught by my mamma. You'll thank me! Your Welcome! I might add, I had a world-class Culinary School & you my dear are a national treasure.

2 Ingredient Sandwich Bread Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper on the long side only with sides hanging over (handles). In a large bowl, sift 3 cups self rising flour. To your flour, add 1 3/4 cup regular vanilla flavored yogurt (do not use Greek yogurt). Using a silicone spatula, stir until we’ll combined. If your dough is too stiff, add a small amount of yogurt and blend in. Place dough in prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake in preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. If top starts to get too brown, shield with aluminum foil. Remove from pan using the parchment handles. Allow to cool before slicing.

I’m almost afraid to make this bread because I have NO self control when it comes to bread. But I do want to try it.
  • My goodness, what a delight you are. I'm subscribing not only because you come up with the best recipes, but because listening to you is like basking in big, warm grandma hugs. I'm 78, building an Etsy store, and boy oh boy, do I need hugs like that!
  • I love that you say TWO ingredients and it REALLY IS just two ingredients! Thanks Pam.

My wonderful father used to say "if the Good Lord's willin' and the creek don't rise" all the time. I haven't heard that clause since he died in 1984. Thanks for the warm memory of the undying, infinite love my Daddy gave me.
  • I came across your video late last night when I couldn’t sleep. I’ve been wanting to make home made bread for a while but didn’t have a bread machine. I ordered the flour and yogurt and had my groceries delivered this morning. I couldn’t wait to try this recipe…. You made it look so easy. Well, I just took my loaf out of the oven 30 minutes ago and needless to say—-I am now holding you responsible for my dietary well being. Lol Just kidding. You were not joking about the deliciousness of this recipe. My husband loves it as well. I will be following you for more goodness. Thank you for sharing your knowledge….now excuse me while I go cut another slice and watch another one of your videos. 😊❤

I have never met Pam but I love her ideas. Every time I make something my kids look at me and ask, "Pam again"? She would make a great neighbor.😊

Pam, I upgraded the bread a little bit. I added 2 1/4 cups of yogurt, half teaspoon of cinnamon and 3 1/2 cups of flour. I folded in blueberries and cinnamon into yogurt and then into the bread. I cannot wait until the ladies in the other apartments try this it came out so good also made for a bigger bread

You give me Mr. Rogers vibes 😅 this is a compliment, clearly 🥰🥰🥰
  • Tried this with vanilla yoghurt and found it very sweet. Thought it strange to use a sweet yoghurt so I tried it again with plain yoghurt and a pinch of salt; gorgeous. It took a bit of converting from cups to grams etc. For those in the UK 420gr. of flour, 394gr. of Natural Plain Yoghurt, cook at 180°C (Gas Mark3)

Self Rising Flour = all purpose flour + salt + baking powder
  • It's funny how you can just instantly fall in love with a person. It's not hard with someone as lovely as Pam! ❤

Finally, someone that doesn’t advertise something (like 2 ingredient chili) only to find out that it’s clickbait! I subscribed to this channel because when Pam says 2 ingredient “something” you better believe that there will ONLY be 2 ingredients! I can’t wait to try this recipe myself!!
