Today's daily update video from South Africa is from 25 July 2024. In this video, we start with a cold, misty morning on the N4 at the Macho Plaza in South Africa today. Then, air pollution is clearly visible on the way to Sasolburg. Rough seas at Herolds Bay and Aston Bay. Then, rain around Robertson. Elephant walking past the car in Addo Elephant National Park. Then, a very windy day at Umhlanga. We drive down the Outeniqua mountain pass towards George on this sunny winter's day in the Western Cape Province. Then, it is Day 3 and Day 4 of the Land Rover Defender Trophy, tracking across the Eastern Cape Province from Hogsback to Morgans Bay. We drove the road between Winterton and Dragon Peaks in KZN and visited several more places across South Africa.

Here's a short weather forecast for South Africa today:
Today, the southern part of the Western Cape Province will experience scattered showers as the second cold front in a series moves in. Get ready for an exciting weather event about hitting the Western, Northern, and Eastern Cape Provinces! A significant cold front is on its way, bringing with it some chilly temperatures and potentially stormy conditions. So make sure to bundle up and stay prepared for the weekend ahead! We're expecting some heavy downpours, snowfalls, and very cold temperatures. So make sure to bundle up and stay warm! Also, be aware of the strong winds along the coast, the interior, and the rough seas.

The sun is shining in Cape Town but there's a bitterly cold wind! πŸŒ€
  • Muizenburg looks like such a nice beach especially at low tide. Almost the same as Vilanculos in Mozambique. Where late husband and myself spent last vacation. But really he would have liked to be in Muisenburg
