Who is Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, a potential Kamala Harris running mate?

Gov. Roy Cooper. I shall be watching him.

Cooper would be great. He leaves office in Jan and therefore would not upset the Dem gubernatorial state leadership. Brashear just got re-elected for a second term. Cooper won 2 terms as a Dem in a Red State. My vote is for Cooper.

Shapiro is an interesting choice. He’s very skilled. He’s extremely pro Israel which might hurt with progressives. But Shapiro is very smart and from an important state.

Governor Josh Shapiro would be an ASSET to our government as VP and then POTUS! Since he was elected, he has promised to take care of our roads. He has increased funding for Public Education. He is creating economic opportunity for all Pennsylvanians. Since being elected he covered 37 counties, listening to Pennsylvanians from all levels of society. Pennsylvania has been under Republican control for too long. We don't have enough hospitals, just Wellness Centers. Our roads are a mess. The Republican salaries are astronomical! If a fungus attacks our trees, the cost to cover treatment is up to private property owners. Salaries are paid at twelve dollars or less. Yet, everyone's taxes get increased.

Kamala needs to pick a governor - so you do not lose a good person in congress - she will need everybody pulling the same direction - this is her time to shine

Not a fan of Shapiro. He's not the strongest out of the options on the field. I would go with Beshear. But it is ultimately Kamala's choice.

She had better not pick Gretchen or any of the others who pushed Joe out. There is a large faction of voters who are displeased by the democratic establishment for disrespecting the voters' choice. I'd like buttigieg but he has such a young family and I really think he's doing great where he is. Anyway, we have lots of options. For the sake of being realistic about American voters, I'd suggest it should be a white male.

I’m for Shapiro. He will be a great Vice President of United States.
