The Lords of Silence greatly increased my appreciation of 40k. I think Mortarion is a great hero. He's flawed, way too sensitive and a victim or circumstance. I identify with that far more than most of the heroes I've come across! Chris Wraight has been able to give us "the other side" of the story. I can remember when Chaos and Death Guard were just "the bad guys". But we have grown so much farther beyond that these days. It's wonderful!

I didn’t know the Lords of silence had another story about them besides their name sake book. They’re really cool and add a sprinkle of humanity to all the plague stuff.

Love hearing tales of the legion days. Before Mort inherited his gifts. Individual legions crusading side by side; brothers in one giant dysfunctional family. Killer read BP!

thinking about more mortaions portrayal in the story trying to get an army and liberate them all from their tyrants and then just thinking about his meeting from the emperor just to have him swoop in and finish off the last boss and have everyone he inspired flock to the emperor is one of the few reasons why I still feel that the death guards and iron warriors betrayal was (I’m not sure if justified) but very understandable. Also fk The blood angels bunch of assholes were too afraid to get their armor dirty and yet criticize the people who were doing the actual dirty work

Chris Wraight and Guy Haley are my 2 favorite who write now. They do such good work.

Vorx is easily my favorite Chaos character. Thank you so much for bringing him alive with your epic voice aborderprince

After much thought and research, if I were ever to fall to the ruinous powers it would be to Grandfather Nurgle. Not only is he the nicest of the four, but his demons are generally so cheerful and his followers only want to share in his gifts.

Indeed, between your excellent narration, and the author, this gives an excellent glimpse into the mind of the faithful servant of Chaos. Not insane, but coldly, grimly rational.

The Death Guard make for great stories

Loved it! Lords Of Silence is the only GW book I've heard off audible left me feeling hungry for more.

I really hope Chris Wraight writes the Mortarian Primarch book.
