I think I understand Uncle Zon a little better now. I've gone deeper than maybe I intended to go, but it was where I wanted to end up. I studied the wand until my fingernails bled. I poured over ancient tomes and battled hordes of unholy monsters to prise the secrets of magic from the aether. In the end, I conquered. I made my wand my servant. I have become the Apprentice.
