Absolvers chapter sounds like Dark Angels on a Saturday

They have a special variant of the Black Rage which is actually called the "Green Grumpies", it makes them pout endlessly and not follow orders , often proclaiming that they "don't wanna"

Fractured brotherhood? Half-truths? Are we sure this isnt a Dark Angels chapter,

Lore channel - let’s get waffling.

I wrote a short story about a chaplain of the absolvers, and how his grim role affected him, and eventually led to his own fall to the rage

That book cover is the first time I've seen official art work of Primaris and Firstborn fighting together

Other details that deviate from the standard Blood Angels experience: the Black Rage may happen as soon as the Neophyte is implanted with the Black Carapace, and even if it doesn’t happen, they usually have prophetic visions of their own death, alongside Sanguinus’, and that appears to also accelerate the coming of the Black Rage. Their Chapter Master got one even when he crossed the Rubicon Primaris, in which he saw… Tyranids. It is to be noted that they do not follow usual Blood Angels rituals, aside for some Chalice usage, as they hide their progenitor out of shame for their defects to all who do not swear a special Vow. The absolvers are a chapter that has been around for a long time, it's just that they didn't have much lore and it was unknown which primarch they came from.

I would love a full lore video on this chapter!

As a Flesh Tearers fan I can't endorse this chapter's behaviour toward their brothers blessed by the righteous rage of our primarch

The Blood Angels had the Tower of the Lost in which they lock away Brothers that have been be completely overcome by the black rage and mutation. It is featured in the Devastation of Baal. The Death Company is still technically a secret, as is the red thirst. Of course it is a poorly kept secret, but using the Death Company in battle is not a common sight. It’s kind of dumb (cool lore flavor though) to lock away your Death Company as you can turn them loose in certain battles to stem the tide.

Oh yeah I love hearing of new lore on chapters that aren't the main og ones or the more popular, ie black templars, flesh tearers etc. I say yes to a video on them. I really do hope we get some love for the likes of the space dragons, blood ravens & the white consuls eps as they have 2 chapter masters and where almost wiped put by word bearers & necrons followed by the death guard.

Ya full lore breakdown would be cool. A thought for a story where Chaplains, Librarians, Sanguinary Priests, and Techmarines of the Sanguinary Brotherhood come together to see if they can use the stuff Necrons use to ward off the Black Rage.

As far as I am aware the blood angels actually do lock away the marines who have fell to the black rage if they survive the death company…
