[Dueling Network] Ritual Beast vs. U.A.: Ulti-Gaiapelio and Random Power Creep Talk

Hey, everybody! YuseiTheSynchroHero/1ΣΣ7§PΣΣÐ (1337SP33D) here! And BOY, this video’s topic is a pretty big one. And it’s not one that I would normally get into but I think that at this current moment in time, I think it warrants a discussion! Oh and I talk about the new Ritual Beast Fusion monster Ritual Beast Ulti-Gaiapelio and his potential! But unfortunately, that’s not the highlight here.
This game is just flat out silly right now and it’s making me not even enjoy it. And you KNOW shit gets bad when people want like DRAGON RULERS back into the game… is this game degraded to a point where Dragon Rulers could come back or like… Spellbook of Judgment? Are we REALLY in that moment in time? I KNOW certain archetypes and deck themes wouldn’t be as “broken” as Burning Abyss and Qliphort are CURRENTLY but I dunno if that warrants the revival of certain older deck themes. I personally don’t think that doing so would make the game BETTER per se. If anything, I think it would make things WORSE than it already is. I mean when it comes to like Blackwings, we know that it’s not breaking the game (even if Burning Abyss didn’t exist) open but when it comes to other Decks like Inzektors, it’s a PRETTY risky business to put like Inzektor Dragonfly to 2 or 3. I mean would it make the deck more viable? Of course! But will this make the game of Yu-Gi-Oh! Better? Or would it just make things worse?
It’s bad enough that Denko Sekka existing during a point where Shaddoll (and soon Nekroz) exists single-handedly made people go pretty much Trapless (outside of like ‘tellarknights or somethin’) but now even Burning Abyss is running like only 1 copy of Fire Lake of the Burning Abyss for its Trap lineup? Daaaaaamn, son! This game is 2fast2furious apparently. People are apparently playing Swift Scarecrow to stop OTKs, Snatch Steal steals games like it always does, etc. It’s not the FIRST time this has ever happened but for some reason, it feels different to me. I mean I watched some recent duel videos and I’m just like “WHAT HAPPENED?” I mean, I know power creep exists in various competitive games but jeez…
On a side note, I had WAAAAY too much fun with that ending sequence with the Pokemon. XD In the sea of me being depressed sounding in this video; I found joy in doing another… weird “Kid Icarus Uprising”-like sequence… conversation stuff with my Pokemon. I wonder tho… can you figure out the “trio” that’s mentioned so many darn times there?

So when was the first time you noticed Konami slipping up and heading the wrong direction? For many, it could be the creation of spell book of judgement and that format of just two decks ruling the meta game. For me, and you know Ive said it for many times in your comments section, is when they banned Stratos (one of the most beloved cards to nearly everyone's favorite archetypes) and they expect people to buy the Hero Strike Structure deck. When did you noticed that Yugioh did not felt like Yugioh anymore?

So everybody is saying power creep is a good thing because it's a good reason bring back old stuff But that isn't doing anything to power creep ba will still be as strong as it is now, even if you bring back something Meta decks will still be, meta decks

Sadly, Konami doesn't care about the game anymore :[ It is now more evident than ever. That's why I stopped playing. I love Yu-Gi-Oh as a game and its mechanic, but the state of the game right now is disgusting and I see Konami not doing anything about it.

It seems like you only play decks with cute girls in it and you come off as quite the weeaboo. I wouldn't be surprised if you have a pokemon/Yugioh waifu :/
