2v8 is coming! From July 25th to August 8th, experience the action-packed new game mode for the first time. With unique character abilities and a reimagined Hook system, this is Dead by Daylight like you’ve never seen it before.

Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer action/horror game where one player takes on the role of a brutal Killer and the other four play as Survivors. As a Killer your goal is to sacrifice as many Survivors as possible. As Survivors your goal is to work together to evade, escape, and most importantly – stay alive.

I can already see a scenario where a killer trying to chase a survivor but suddenly walks into trapper's bear trap and 5 seconds later the two killers spamming M1 to each other and the 8 survivors watching from afar.

Can't wait to loop the killer for 3 minutes just to see that the other 7 survivors have done nothing.

This mode will encourage those who are scared to play killer, knowing they have a teammate to help them chase down survivors.

I've seen some comments asking this: in the original stream they announced 2v8 in they said this is a temporary test phase, but they plan to make it permanent in the future after making sure it's balanced properly. So make sure to provide feedback when asked to make the game mode as good as it can be after this testing :)
