20:35 That’s called a “Tennis Bracelet” I’m 78 yo lady who has one of these. Our mother had a REAL DIAMOND Tennis Bracelet and she wore it ALL the time. During her later years, she had it cut into 7 equal parts (7 diamonds per part) and had her jeweler make them into 7 -14k necklaces with vertical bar of diamonds 💎. She gave her 5 daughters and two DIL the necklaces for Christmas. We all wore them…and STILL do
  • My mom used to get gifts like that at her hospital over the years good memories love you Mom in heaven! 💜
  • I love how you do your research and you share with us in the same video your findings

Yay a new to me unboxing! I finally tried my luck with a Goodwill jar recently and found a ghastly tangle of 95% complete trash, hiding 3 sterling chains and one lovely little delicate 14k chain in the middle of the horror. 💎

I recognize a lot of that jewelry from the late 60s-70s. The bracelet with "Charles" on it was called an ID bracelet and the guys with give them to their gals if they were "going steady".
  • New sub. I used to resell on ebay. I was hospitalized fror a month and had to stop. I have a whole room full of jewelry. I have to have a yardsale. If I die and still have it my sons will toss it all. Then I will haunt them. Lol.
  • The bird cuff is a unique vintage Asian Tibetan silver cuff bracelet etched with a bird.

I love that you opened your mystery box live on your video! It was so fun to see the items first hand with you! Thanks for taking the time to tell us about each thing.😊😊😊

I’m 72 now and I had a necklace like the cross with the Lord’s Prayer in it. Loved it.
  • Hi Ali, This was really fun watching you open the box. I am someone who has worked with crystals, rocks and sem- precious stones. I thought you would want to know that there are many of these that warm to the touch, it depends on who is touching them. I love those glass earrings. Such beautiful facets cut into them. Thanks for sharing this box!
  • Really fun watching you unbox this jewelry. What a coincidence that I live an hour drive away from Brookville, PA. Jewelry doesn’t always to have great value to enjoy it. There were many pretty costume jewelry pieces in this box that I would wear - if I wasn’t allergic to metal darn it!

Much loved the bags they would sell in the stores every Wednesday. Way before the people taking in the donations got to cherry pick everything off the top of all that comes in. At least for just over a year we had some really good deals and my granddaughters have some beautiful jewelry.
  • Tina could have passed away and her family didn't realise what it was. Just saying, that's how a lot of stuff ends up at goodwill.
  • First time watching your channel loved all the detail you gave love the description and the enthusiasm that you bring. You give such great good ideas on how to authenticate your jewelry where you get your jewelry boxes from and the idea of asking a jeweler to authenticate some stuff is really good
  • I worked with the guy that went to an estate sale and he bought all the books, and then those boots was a book that opened up, which he had a belief. He told me it was emerald cut diamond, and they told him it was his he bought everything. A very large diamond.

They used to have a smorgasbord of jewelry odds and ends sold in jars at my local goodwill. I found so many 14k and diamond items but also plenty of interesting pieces for me to craft with. They have now discontinued putting these mixes to sell in jars because multiple times police had to be called to break people up fighting over them. They told me several times the jars ended up broken on the floor with tiny jewelry pieces scattered everywhere. This is why we can't have nice things. So unfortunate.
  • I enjoyed your video. I like how you included information regarding certain items, such as the history.
  • You can put eye glass sponge foam in the back of them ear rings . It protects the ear from hurting from the clip 🙋🏻‍♀️
