Nick learning from his Leapers' mistakes with over-aggressive deployment and choosing to play it safe instead is such a hivemind adaptation learning moment. You never fool the synaptic nexus twice (or three times). He really is meant to play Tyranids.

The "I'll hug you!" from Nick when James was rolling the charge was adorable. Always a really wholesome game when James and Nick are on the table!

So funny. FIrst I hear "OH NO, James whiffs!" on the split fire and then I hear my dog rolling around behind me scratching his back on the floor "gnrrr gnrrrr rrhaaa rhaaa" right behind it like some demented Hive Fleet celebratory spasm.

tyranids seem way stronger in normal games than in combat patrol especially against space marines who just seem to have higher power units for this?
