Ran track at Loughlin back in the Late 60's, 1966 to 1970. Events were run in Yards Back then, Mile Relay was basically the Same, 440 yards each. I made the Varsity Team Running the Anchor leg of the Mile Relay my Sophomore Year. Bringing the team from last to 1st in 1967 at the NY Armory at 168th St, Manhattan. The Armory Floor was made of wood back then, most likely in 1942, and not in great condition. I fell once there, and I'm still picking splinters out of my leg 54 years later. The Freshman had their own team back then and were not part of the varsity. Congrats on being #1, and keep up the Loughlin Track Tradition. Kevin Walsh 1970 Outdoor City Champs

Great to see Loughlin back to its winning ways!!! I agree with Kevin Walsh that conditions and running tracks are vastly improved from when we were running in ancient Armory!!
