Isabel Kelly Sings the National Anthem at the Reds Game

There are so many things I love about America. One of those is the national pride that is on display every day. No country in the world flies more flags than we do here in the United States of America. The enthusiastic patriotism of our citizens is unique the world over.
Another expression of this national pride is the singing of the National Anthem before sporting events. I love hearing the National Anthem before a game.
A few weeks ago, Isabel had the opportunity to sing the National Anthem before the Reds played the Los Angeles Angels. Attendance that night was 27,343 and the Reds won 7 to 5.
So, to help us all celebrate the fourth of July, I wanted to share the footage with you.

Isabel, I am the mother of a Marine veteran who fought in Afghanistan, and the singing of the national anthem always brings tears to my eyes. Your rendition was no exception. You sang with such pride and love for your country, and your voice is lovely and strong. So much confidence. Thank you, Matthew Kelly, for teaching your children to not only love God, but to love and respect the country they live in. You are raising beautiful souls, empathetic children. This performance brought me to tears. To know the newest of generations understands the sacrifice made for the freedom to fly this flag, and to sing with such passion and reverence! She did a fantastic job, and the National Anthem is one of the hardest songs to sing, in my opinion! For her to be so brave and confident at such a young age is inspiring. Please tell her that all of us who have watched her and her brothers grow up on your videos are so proud of her!!!
