apple won’t drop the stem design, it’s just too good and too iconic, the bean form is often easier to fall out of ear and touch controls are worse cause they activate when you try to push it into your ear

The AirPod pro, you can charge them with the Apple Watch pro charger. Not sure about other chargers . I am charging them like that.

If the update to AirPods Max was USB-C only, I don't see why they wouldn't have just released it last year along with the AirPods Pro 2 USB-C refresh. I think the rumors are wrong. I can't see any world where Apple releases their most premium pair of headphones without an H2 chip. It's a major selling point for the AirPods Pro 2, especially with Adaptive Transparency which is an incredible feature. It would be extremely unlike Apple to use a 4 year old chip in their most premium model of anything. Major disappointment if the rumors are true.

AirPods Max really need a new chip and USB C at the very least. Wish they figured out how to stream via airplay instead of bluetooth on those to allow higher fidelity audio playback. But from what ive read it's still too energy intensive.

So then what is the point of air pods pro if one of the models will pretty much have everything the pros have minus 1 or two features

What happened to Lossless support? I remember reading that Apple had managed up to 20 bit 48Khz Lossless via Wireless.
