  • She should be a 50 year old mother of 5 celebrating her nearly 30 year marriage right now instead of being in the ground 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

"The goal isn't to live forever but to create something that will" -Selena 💗. My favorite quote from her.

People don’t give this woman the credit she rightfully deserves as a vocalist. This woman could SING!!! Her technique, her power, her resonance, and cadence. Could you all imagine the heights her voice and overall music career would have gone, had she survived??? She was set to be a Business Mogul. She paved the way for a LOT of Celebs even today. Damn you, Yolanda! Damn you for robbing us of this bright star that was destined to shine in this industry.
  • She should be a 50 year old, mother with her 5 kids and her farm :(
  • Selena would still been here making beautiful music, if she never met Yolanda. R. I. P selena

I, like most people outside of the Latino community, didn't hear Selena's music until after her passing. Just think what could have been if she had lived. Yet another amazing talent Gone Too Soon
  • idk, yolanda showed A LOT of red flags before they even hired her...

Selena’s story always breaks my heart and makes me want to cry. I cry cause she was so young and had her entire future ahead of her. She was going to do so much and it was just stolen from her. Her bright burning light was snuffed faster then a blink of an eye. How can someone she loved so much do this to her. Someone she was so good to. I remember the news like it happened yesterday. I was a kid but I understood what had happened and it broke my heart. Selena you didn’t deserve this and I’m sorry this is what happened. We will always miss you and there will always be a place in our hearts for those of us who loved you and where you’re biggest fan.

The most tragic thing about Selena's senseless murder is that it was 100% preventable.

There's no telling what Selena would have accomplished, places she would conquer, and what achievements she would have done if she had not died. Fan obsession can be really deadly.

An important lesson...Be so careful who you call "friend".

No matter how long it has been, I can't still comprehend what happen, this was Selena, a kind, sweet, compassionate young woman. Everyone loved her, and this thing took advantage of her, even after her death she is still taking advantage of her. Selena we are so very sorry from the bottom of our hearts that this horrible monster came into your life, we are missing you every day. Please rest in peace and power.

I don’t know why I keep breaking my own heart by re watching this story over and over smfh
  • @ChixenLil
I did not only like her music but the way she carried herself. She never forgot who she was unlike the singers out there now. I never saw her in super skimpy clothing, she did not need to use profanity in her songs, songs were clean of sexual things, she was just humble, too humble. Her humbleness was taken advantage of and that is super common in the world today. Never lost her roots and where she came from. She had money and fame but did not let it get to her head. This is why I enjoyed her music and loved her as an artist. ❤
  • Selena died two weeks before her 24th birthday , and was laid to rest the day of there wedding anniversary. It’s sad how Selena died she was so young, and had so much potential but was taken away by a jealous act I hope Yolanda never gets out cause they waiting on her

Even though I’m not Hispanic/Latino, and I was born almost nine years after Selena died, I really love Selena and her music. I just got back from watching every video of her that was live from Astrodome. I really wish she was still here today. Yolanda is a terrible person, and she should stay behind bars. I love you Selena! / ¡Te amo Selena! And I miss you / Y te extraño :(
  • @hanna.zuniga
I grew up with my dad telling me “never trust anyone , even if you’ve known them your entire life , even if it’s your family , never open up with anyone” I never understood that until I started listening to Selena. rip to this beautiful soul, she was so loving and cared for everyone. I can’t believe her last thoughts her life flashing before her eyes :( r.i.p Selena you’ll be missed

As a Spanish woman myself, I cannot express enough how thankful I am for what Selena did for us while she was here. I wish she didn’t die how or when she did, but the legacy she left behind will never be gone <3
