My father was killed and it took me almost 20 years to be able to say or even hear his name without crying. He was my best friend. Thinking about all the kids losing their parents… their best friends makes me sad. Thinking about how sad I was makes me sad. I’m praying the family gets grief counseling and heals.

“Watch your thoughts, they become your words; watch your words, they become your actions; watch your actions, they become your habits; watch your habits, they become your character; watch your character, it becomes your destiny.” -unknown and accredited to many

That baby is ALREADY walking in his father's shoes. First by trying to support his mother and little sister like he knows his father would. Praying for these babies, his wife, his family. Only GOD can give them the strength they need to BREATHE everyday without Dolph in their lives. Sending so much love to Memphis from Texas 💋❤️
  • His little boy is already years ahead of his time. Dolph would be proud🙌

Ppl say he shouldn’t of went back, yes he should.....Dolph was all about being smart and using what u got to lift someone else out the mud. Dolph was Memphis, he wasn’t the king 👑 bc of how popular he was, he was the king because of how many lives he impacted. LLD

I have never seen no news channel that was so happy to catch a murderer suspect And broadcast it these people love dolph for real And not only that young Dolph put God in all his music this ain’t nothing but the Lord returning his favor

Jealous and envy. When u make it even a little famous, u have to leave the area where you are from and never go back. You have to love from a distance. Also the gang stuff is worst then ever. One of those dudes had a chopper thats ridiculous..

I hope they realize what a horrible thing they did. Rest in Peace Young Dolph!

Man...his son speaking of his dad and the lessons Dolph taught him on how to be a good man, that just broke my heart right there. You can tell Dolph was a good dad by those words that kid spoke. He is going to miss his dad more than anything, but he will always remember the lessons learned. That will be more valuable than anything else Dolph could have given him. Look forward to this young man growing up to be President one day...or maybe something far greater than any of us could imagine. His options will be unlimited thanks to the doors his father has opened for him. All of the hip hop industry will be behind this family...because not only was Dolph a good man, but he was trying to help others and allow them to do good as well. This piece really did illustrate how Dolph was out there in the community trying to promote peace and allowing the young to grow old and stop acting as if life doesn't matter. He was trying to teach these kids the value of life, and he became another casualty of the war he was trying to end. Black on black violence is a whole other type of evil. They really don't want to see anyone doing better than them...jealousy is an ugly thing. I know Dolph would've helped Johnson do his thing, as he wasn't really a bad rapper (yeah, he sounded like Sheisty, as many have noted). These 2 men are just demons who don't know the value of life...which makes sense, as Dolph was worth 100 of them combined (likely more than that). RIP Adolph...and no worries, the world will look out for your children and family. No one would ever allow harm to come to them, of that I am sure. The world may be ugly, but there is beauty sprinkled throughout.

You can just tell how good a father/person dolph was by his sons words at the stand. 💯👌🏼 R.I.P Dolph Gabbana!

That's why I like jazz. You never hear about jazz artists getting shot down over street beefs.
