The blue hour, also known as the magic hour is famous among photographers. You can get some incredible photos because of the soft shadows, blue colours and the mix with artificial light. In this week's video I visit three different locations along with Greg Snell who came all the way from Germany to visit me.

Man that first time-blend turned out great. 👏
  • @randyschwager84
It amazes me how you are able to take mundane scenes and turn them into masterpieces! Thanks for taking me along!
  • The image of the bridge with the flowers in the foreground was really stunning.
  • @LeePelling

Blue hour has always been my favourite time for landscape. Sunsets are cool but def prefer blue hour. Glad this is up.

Really enjoyed this Mads and great to see you and Greg meeting up and look forward to seeing his video. Most of the images I have seen of the Wave building have been black and white fine art images so it was nice to see your colour version. The Fjordenhus building looked a really cool subject too so I have added a map pin to my google maps as Denmark is very much a place I would love to visit for the architecture Wow....just watched Greg's video and I'm speechless and totally blown away for the shout out by both of you. Thank you Mads, that really has made my day 🙂

I'm not sure if this was filmed on the same evening but I saw an amazing sunset at the Little Belt Bridge on the 10th of June (I was staying in the countryside about 5km from it). The colours seemed to last forever so I was out with the camera for ages, capturing the bridge from various angles.
  • Man you are just cranking out these videos :) beautiful shots as usual !! A photo workshop in Denmark with the one and only MPI, now that would be a treat!
  • @mikkiscott9995
Wow, those are some amazing shots! Great and informative video!
  • Remember to warn people about the yellow path lights in that first location. If shooting anything in the foreground close to the path, those lights will definitely bleed onto that subject & throw out the white balance between the foreground and the background. Great video. Some amazing locations.
  • @lindonfc
Totally on another level. Well in fella. ✊
  • @artiedoc
Great Subject! The photo of the flowers bridge and cross clouds ❤ Beautifully composed!
