IND Culver Line: (F) and (G) Trains with R142 (5) Movie Train + R42 Garbage Train

Published 2024-04-26
An R142 was being used for a movie at 7 Avenue and there was this R142 just sitting here not moving, though it did change its signage from (4) then (6) then (5) off camera. Someone said they saw it as a (3) and (2). But it was never signed as a (1) or (7). It would’ve been cool if would’ve been signed as a (1) or (7) because the R142 hasn’t ran on the (1) since 2018 because of shortage of R62As and a rerouted (2) to 242 St. The R142 never runs on the (7) because there’s no way to get to the (7) Flushing tracks from 7th ave or Lexington Av, and the (7) doesn’t need R142s, it doesn’t have (7) strip maps unlike the R188.

And sorry if my fingers were getting in the way.

I don’t think you could see the trains and the R142 signage because the sun was shining right at my face and the camera lenses in my phone and the Manhattan and Queens bound platform.

The video quality in this video looks kinda crappy since I film with a iPhone 11 Pro Max and I turn the the exposure light to -1.3 and I use CapCut for editing my videos but I don’t think it increases my video quality when I increase it to 2K/4K resolution, 60 frame rate and High Code rate (Mbps) before I export the video to my photo library before I upload.

I think ima need a new phone because I dropped it way too many times and the quality looks crappy, but I’ll probably buy a new phone when I start making money when I hit 1K subscribers. So subscribe.
