Blastoff! Atlas V rocket launches classified USSF-51 Space Force mission

A United Lauch Alliance Atlas V rocket launched USSF-51 mission for the US Space Force from Florida's Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on July 30, 2024.

It was the final national security mission to launch atop an Atlas V rocket.

  • Man that Atlas V with the 4 solids has some serious thrust to weight ratio, damn near throttled down seconds after liftoff!

    Interesting...what could it be for?...It wouldn't be a secret. 🧐 So much technology, and McDonalds can't bring back the the 1980's version of the MCDLT (cold side and hot side). 😀

    Poor show... I only watch because I respect Space.com. The real entertainment today is Starship and Mr. Elon should make it even more entertaining. Positive: the first 25 seconds show a very beautiful working place.
