    The F-16 is light and nimble. Neither side will have stealth. Both sides will have experienced stick and rudder guys. I worry that all the advanced and computerized controls on the F-16 will be confusing and require time consuming presence of mind. There are US pilots who grew up bilingual. These battles should be fought over Ukrainian territory where a crashing or parachuting pilot would have a chance.

    C'mon someone....how long before some of them are in use? Are they too complicated for the Ukrainian pilots? How many pilots are being trained on F16's at the moment.? WHY is it tking so long to get them functional?

    MY DAD WORKED ON TOP SECRET THE ELECTRIC BOX OF THE F-14 AND F-15 AND F-16 PLANES WELDING THEM TO PERFECTION ON HIS JOB WITH TELEDYNE SITTING AND TEACHING WELDERS HOW TO DO IT WHEN THEY WERE LOSING AT 14 OUT OF THE HEIRS BECAUSE OF INSUFFICIENT WELDS ON MONEY THAT WASN'T BEING PAID AND KEPT BACK AND PRODUCING FAULTY INSTRUMENTS, MY DAD'S SAVING LIVES

    For all we know they maybe use for something totally different. Maybe it would be better if they are used to clear the anti aircraft system ( Full use of HARM abilities ) that would allow more close air support by less cable aircraft. Or raid the airfield where the SU are based. It would be diminish the moral of the Russians to see F16s raid Russian territory.

    I am not sure how the rule sof war operate, if these couple European countries, fly American made F-16 to the Ukraine, to use for military, isnt that the same as just having them take off from those European county and attack? such a weird mind game the world plays!

    Time fact check. Russia air defense is much to strong. Ukraine has a long way to go before F-16 can operate. Right now, the lost would be too high. Another reason the plane being upgraded slowing the process. Plus, Ukraine Pilots need more training. This is not going to be walk in the park. Plus, they can't afford the lose of pilots.
