He just won the Super Bowl, was running on no sleep, probably still in tons of pain, had to be pulled away from family time, and he STILL showed up and was completely engaging and humble. Mahomes just gets it.

Everyone in Kansas City understands what a treasure we have in Patrick. Never an ungracious ungrateful comment in all his time here. And he gives back so much to this community. So glad the rest of the country got to see the spark we get to experience every week of the season.

We won the lottery with Patrick in KC. We sucked for so many years. We were so used to losing the first playoff game, if we even got to playoffs which we didn’t many years. This guy exploded in his first year playing. I did not see this coming. He continues to mature and should only get better. I love him and so grateful we got such a stellar human being. The future looks bright for the Chiefs for years to come. ❤

Growing up in Kansas City, I've been a Chiefs fan for as long as I can remember. I never dreamed we'd be so blessed to have someone like Patrick Mahomes representing our home town with such amazing talent, grace and humility. He has done so much for our city along with Andy Reid, Travis Kelce, and the entire organization. They are a class act. Go Chiefs! Thank you Patrick!
