Solo Female Vanlife | A Chill Day Turns CREEPY

Published 2024-04-30
Thankfully this isn't what a typical day in my van looks like, BUT it is a reality every now and then, unfortunately. Gotta stay super aware out there ugh!

  • Hi all! Thank you so much for all your kind comments and concerns! This is the first time I’ve gotten anything like this on camera and wanted to share my experience with you all. I’ve been getting some comments by someone claiming that this man is a local in the area and is an old man (like a grandpa) but I want everyone to know that he was NOT old and was NOT a grandpa by any means. He was in his mid 30’s at best. And made me nervous by tailgating me all the way up there, heavily staring, leaving then coming back, only leaving when I exited my vehicle so he could fully see me, etc. (as I explain in the video). I made sure not to film him in order to protect his identity but I now feel I maybe should have. Not sure. But I just wanted to clarify this. Thank you for listening.

Next time if you think you’re being followed don’t lead them to your true destination. Head to police station or other densely populated spot. Or head to a woman’s only store where they’re unlikely be bold enough to go in like a nail salon. Stay safe.

Just a little tip. Instead of water, put white vinegar in the spray bottle. It kills bacteria, cuts grease, leaves every thing shiny and clean! I use it on my counters and stove, sinks, you name it. Great vlog. Happy the creep didn't actually have a chance to do anything.

Always go with your gut, the only thing I would say is if you do think he is sketchy during the day keep your curtains open so you can see him and what he is doing. I noticed a lot of women do what you did but you want to keep an eye on him. He has the advantage if you obstruct your view of him. Also, creeps look for signs of weakness in women, do not show weakness even if you are nervous keep your wits about you. If he was interested in doing something he will come back at night when you will be at your most vulnerable. Have your safety weapons within reach or on your body.

Never, ever lead someone to where you are going!

I think as a woman you have to be extra cautious & careful. There are a lot of sick, twisted people out there. But we do have good people too, I’m glad you’re a safety person ❣️ I watch a few other people, and some of them have been followed & threatened. I’ll be watching your channel, hopping & praying for your safety 😊💗

What A Weirdo ! I would also find another place to sleep at ! He might go back there at night ! Be safe girl ! New subbie here !

So true, as women we get creepers constantly. And, it happens when you live in sticks and bricks as well. You're smart so just remain that way. Lol the mother in me had to say that of course. 😊 Can't wait to see your renovations! Happy trails!

Going with your gut is such a good thing to do, always go with your gut. No one needs to know but I hope you carry some kind of a personal protection device. I am so sorry you had to deal with that, I'm a dad with a daughter and being aware of your surroundings is a must this day and age. Love your channel, have a great tomorrow and see ya next time.😊
  • My dude, you're braver than me! That guy was letting out some serious crazy creepy vibes. I'd have driven right outta there and parked up outside the nearest police station. I'm sorry you had to experience that and I'm glad you're safe Hun, please continue to be so on your travels. Also super cute stickers ❤
  • I think maybe if you can get his license and possibly report him or make sure the police are aware that he’s following you give your information to someone
  • @juliebelize4285
So glad the creeper left and that you played safe. What a goregeous area. Love todays vlog, like all the others. Enjoy your days ~ :face-red-heart-shape:

I agree 100 percent with you, the man was odd and you let him know you were watching him so he did not act and try and come up to you, but sitting and watching you in his auto is creepy on your travels you know how to listen to your gut instinct and in this case, I think you handled this like a pro. The dude was a weirdo and you are aware of that so you are going to have a fun day and keep us all posted on odd encounters, like this one, gave many women the chills.

The Nomadic lifestyle is in the near future for me, so I appreciate you sharing everything with us: the good, the bad & the ugly. I’m prbly your grandma’s age, so little creeps don’t bother me~ nothing that a heavy shovel wldn’t take care of 🤣 meaning that I’m strong enough to swing it around…but, you handled yourself well~ best to avoid confrontation of any kind, right?! Bravo! I’m still trying to decide what type of rig to get, so see you down the road one day!
  • @user-eo6bk9sg5y
That’s right listening to your intuition and having safety precautions are important and I love 💗 your van 🚐
  • @louscannon7493
He'll be back in that spot, looking for you every day for the next six months. This creep lives in a fantasy world. Be careful...
  • @bebas1080
Can you do a vlog of when you hit up the grocery store and what you buy yourself to eat ?
  • Always take note of their plate number. It's enough information for the police to investigate if anything goes sideways.
