    I think perhaps you aren't aware of the level of anger among Mormons who begin to research the history of Joseph Smith and the Mormon church. When they discover how much has been hidden from them, and realize the level of deceit in covering the true history, they feel betrayed and they start to count the years and sacrifices given in church service as wasted. It's only a matter of time, with the internet, and with the Gospel Topics Essays spelling out the facts, until more members discover the truth.
