Anupama, whatever others may say, your channel has helped non Hindi movies come to limelight. This channel will be forever remembered for that.

As a loyal FC follower of nearly 8 years, I feel betrayed and terribly sad by this sudden decision to shut things down without any warning or explanation! First I thought only Anupama ji is leaving but now it seems that FC itself is closing? I have no clue what is happening and why. This feels like a break-up over a text message.

Having not been to India in over a decade, this felt like a slice of home that I didn't know I needed. And it satiated my craving for talking about Indian cinema in a foreign land. Other channels seem to focus only on grabbing views with sensational background music and clickbait. I feel heartbroken. Thank you Film Companion for entertaining, educating and enriching our lives for 10 beautiful years. I will miss Film Companion, especially Anupama sorely. I'm a loyalist and I think I will have trouble finding a replacement for Film Companion. Maybe some insight into the reasons for the shutdown of Film Companion might offer some closure for its ardent fans like myself. Anupama, we would also like to know what is next for you.
